We entered into the inspector's office.

" Please sir sit" pointing to the chair made for client while he goes to his seat.

I sat down and he brings out the file and open it.

" Sir can you please explain what happened before your beige went missing?

" I went to work yesterday, it was when I came back that my mom told me, my wife went out to buy contraceptive pills and she hasn't returned" I said.

" That was around what time? inspector asked.

" Do you mean the time my mom told me or when I returned back home from work? I asked.

"The time you returned from work sir" inspector asked.

" I returned home at 6:12pm. I said

" When did your mom said she left the house to the pharmacy? He asked.

" She said around after three in the afternoon. I said.

" Before you left for work in the morning did both of you had issues like arguments or fight? Inspector asked.

" No, infact she's not been feeling fine for some days she has just gotten better", we had no arguments or fight"I said.

" Does your wife and mom gets along well? He asked.

" Ofcourse, they are friends, I mean great friends, I have  never seen them fight since we got married. I said.

" And your mom never mentioned if they had a fight or argument? He asked.

"I told you they are best of friends? I said.

" I know, you know you could have a good relationship with someone and maybe just one day you guys had an argument and you get angry that's why I asked.

" No" I reply.

I was already getting tired from the series of questions, what I want to hear is different, I want to hear that they found my wife.

" Mr Dayo, I am taking up this right now and I promise you we will get to the root, I promise you we would help you bring back your wife safely.

OK sir.

" You can take your leave sir because I am going out right now to begin the investigation right way.

" Thank you sir" I said.

" You are welcome.

When Dayo called this money explaining his wife was missing a part of me became happy, I want Dayo, I want him to be mine, I love him so much in the few days we work together he proved his intelligence infact right now I am praying something bad should happen to his wife so that I can take over from there at least I would have an opportunity to become his wife.

After work I would be visiting him not because I care but because it's an opportunity to know his house and start visiting in the name of being concern.

I sat on the floor crying, they did not even turn off the light this time, he left lots of food for me on the table but I am so weak right now and moreover I just want a way out of here. I miss my husband and kids and my mother in law, they must be so worried about me, I wish I could get out of here. I thought and I lied down on the floor crying.
