CHAPTER 133

I decided to summon courage to go to the security man.

" Hi" I said.And he stood up to answer me.

" Yes ma'am"

" I would like to see the beauty of the compound beyond the gate, I said.

" Am sorry ma, my boss said I shouldn't open the gate for you, am so sorry" my mood change, my smiling face turn sour and at the point tears was beginning to gathered in my eyes because now know I am trapped, I thought it would be easier escaping but it's more difficult  I thought.

" Thank you" I said nodding my head and I walk sluggishly to  the house with my face down because I couldn't held my tears anymore, my tears were beginning to drop and I walk back into the room and wrap myself under the duvet crying.

Not long a knock came on the door.

" Come in" I lazily answered and quickly dried my face and my 4 maids came in.

" We are sorry to disturb you" the Eldest of them said.

" What do you want ? I asked in a soft tone.

" We came so that you can have your bath ma" One of the maids said.

" Don't worry yourselves, I can do that by myself" I said. I said smiling.

" Ma, your husband will sack us , if we don't assist you" the Eldest maid said.

" I am your boss and I am the one that said don't worry, I won't tell mi.... I paused " my husband"  I regarded him as my husband regard him as husband in front of the maids, I don't want anyone suspecting I have my plans of escaping,  I hate him with passion.

" Thank you ma" they Chorused and left.

DAYO.

" Dad, can you please lend me your cellphone? I said to my Dada who was listening to BBC news.

" Ofcourse yes, take it on the table" Dad said and I pick the phone from the table.

" Do you have some airtime on it? I asked.

" Yes, I think I have about 1200 on it" he said, I walk into my old room before I got an apartment, that is where I sleep now while mom and the kids are in she and Dad's room.

Our kids birthday is in a week's time, I remember we've been planning  together, I just wish she would come back and we could give our kids a memorable birthday as we planned .

I checked my stuffs and bring out a diary where I usually write down numbers incase I loose my cell phone.

I dialled Nini's stepmom's number as it rings the first time I cut the call and did it the second time and did the same thing and the third time, I just let it ring and she picked.

"Hello ma" I said

" Hello my in law, she said ovwer the phone.

" I was even going to call that was when your call came in.

" Yes ma, how is kate, Simi and James ma?

" They are fine" she said over the phone and I paused a bit and sigh.

" Ma, it's Nini, I paused  again with tears on my eyes Nini has been missing for days now but the police are on it and they promise to investigate the case but  I promise ma, Nini will come back to us ma.

She sighs over the phone. " Nini will not come back" she said over the phone.
