CHAPTER 137

Mike didn't go to work that day, he stayed with me in the room.

He would go to his library and come back to me. I wish I had an access into his library, I would just use the land phone there to call but it is always locked.

I have tried using his cellphone but it's protected by fingerprint and I thought of borrowing cell from the maidens.

2 hours later

The maids brought my food to the room while Mike fed me, I let him because I was so hungry. 

The maids came to clear the plates and he comes to sit beside me and he showed me the alert of N5,000,000 he just sent to my account. I just look at it and lie down not saying anything and he comes to lie down behind me and put his hand on my tummy and says, "it's just the beginning, this is for conceiving a baby for me" and he kissed me on the neck.

3months

I thought my ante -natal was going to be at the hospital, I was still having hope that my escape would be as easy as anything but it was the hardest.

The following day.

" The Eldest maid came in to pick some clothes for laundry.

" Rose" I called as I was sitting on the bed.

" Please borrow me your cellphone , I need to call someone?

" Am sorry ma, I can't, it's against the rule of this house to borrow you phone.

"What rule and who made the rule?

" Your husband ma" she said, I was shocked to hear there was such rule.

" O.k, my husband is not here now, please borrow me, he won't know"I said pleading.

" The thing is we could be caught on camera, camera is installed almost every where in this house maybe the toilet is exempted but what if your husband has a CCTV in the toilet" I scratched my head hearing her word.

" You have a point about that but atleast, a CCTV can't be hidden in you guys bath? I said.

" Ma, I can't say" she said.

" you know what , do as if you are cleaning our bathroom and you mistakenly dropped your phone and I will quickly use it within 5 mins and you will rush back into the bathroom like you forgot you and if they try to question you, I will defend you and I promise you, I will do a lot for you". I said pleading but I could see fear on her face. I held her hand. " Please" I said with a pleading face and she enters into the bathroom and washes the jacuzzi and left leaving her cellphone behind.

I was so happy, I entered and sit on the toilet seat and acted I just saw the phone, she had no password on her phone, so I quickly dialled my husband mobile line, it didn't ring and the network provider said " the number you have dialled is not available , please try again later, I dialled my mother in law's line it was the same thing and I kept on trying the lines until rose came in.

" Ma, I have to take the cellphone now, am sorry.

" Thanks, I nod my head and I began to think or did he killed them? I began weeping and never bother going out of the room.
