CHAPTER 161

I and my lawyer came down in front of a five star hotel from the different cars with entourages opening the door for us.  

We both entered into the hotel restaurant with my entourage and we were lead by waiters to our reservation. We sit in front of the housing agents who were already waiting for us and the waiter comes to us to ask us of what we would like to take and I just ask for a fruit juice while the lawyer asked for a wine and the agents ask for just water and our order was brought and I signal my bodyguard excuse us. 

He excused us but not to far from us and the lawyer brings out 5 different documents. “Ma’am about the commercial properties you asked,we have properties in Lagos island that will be good for your business, may we know your budget ma?” says one of the housing agency and I just smile and my lawyer places the documents on the table.

“I am not interested in buying properties, I want to sell properties “ I said.

“I thought you said you wanted to buy property from us when you contacted us ma” the male housing agent says.

“Yes but I change my mind, listen if you can help me sell this properties, I will settle you with a better commission “ I said.

I could see their interest in the sale of the properties I want to sell.

“Okay, so what’s the percentage of our commission? The female agent ask.

“5% of the 5 properties that I want to sell and all are located on the island,each of the 4houses worth 125M and as for the one acre of land is located in Ajah and you know how much that worths” I said and I could see both agents sits properly again and I smile but I want it to be a secret” and I turn to my lawyer.

“Meet my lawyer Mrs Adeyemo, she’s from the famous Adeyemo law firm on the island” I said.

“It’s nice meeting you both” she says

“I would like to know if you would help me sell this properties “ I asked.

“Of course ma, we are interested in this kind of business “ both of them chorused.

“But the thing is we can’t assure you that you will get to sell the property at the price  you said you bought it, if you want it sold quickly but if you want it sold beyond that price it may take over 6months” the male agent says.

“I want it sold quickly,whenever their is an offer just let me know. I said.

“Alright ma” he answered while the female agent took the documents and check them one by one and the male agent joins in going through the documents and both of them keeps nodding their heads and they both smile.

“Do we have a deal? I asked.

“Yes ma and I promise you that we will keep it a secret” and we all shake hands.
