CHAPTER 226

" Mike, is it true? Did you kill my Dayo? Nini asked.

I investigated the death of Dayo because I knew did not just die but somebody did.

He was alright a day before that day, he was playing, the doctor said he was already feeling fine but suddenly I  came the second day and find my Dayo dead.

" Tell Nini how  you got your men to disguise as policemen on the road, tell him how they distract him so that they can cause a damage on the car steering and an accident can happen or how you paid a nurse  to add poison into his drip in the hospital " Nini bgan to weep.

" Mike is it true, so you were the one that kill my Dayo, why? What have you done?

" Nini am so sorry, I never wanted to kill Dayo but I  realise  if he still lives,  I  won't  be able to have you, when you dissapear from our vacation in America, I  thought you were kidnapped but when my private investigator  said you have return into the country with a different  face and that you and Dayo are back, I realized  that breaking the bond completely is the best and I  feel that's  the only way I can have you" I said.

I feel bad right now because I am the reason Nini is crying right now, I  am the reason the children are kidnapped. 

" Mike I hate you, I cursed the day I met you, you are so cruel, I should have stayed in the U.S, if I knew my coming back was going to end Dayo's  life, I would have stayed back in the U.S" Nini said crying.

" Now you see why you deserve  to die Nini because you were the reason for my fiancee's death, we were going to get married but you ruined it Nini as a matter of fact I will kill both of you and keep your teins, you kmow why, I have kearn to love them and I  will  help them control their properties  which automatically  makes it mine"Mirabel said.

"I invested my time in Mike, so I deserve his property, when I kill you, i will claim your twins were found in the bush and I was the first person that was contacted, I will plead to take care of them and afterwards I will start controlling the property one by one"Mirabel says, " I can't  loose everything to you just like that Nini" she says and points the gun at Nini.

" Or you think I do not need money, my parents aren't as rich as they use to be we are just faking it out there but with this my plan, I am pretty sure I would be rich again, I can see your networth increased since Dayo died and I want that to" Mirabel says pointing gun at Nini

" I can give you what you want, I will give you N500M but let Nini go, dont hurt her" I said.

" Really, how am I sure you would give me that amount?She asks.

" I don't  back out on promises, I always give my word but free my wife" I said.
