"Ye... yes I am", I internally slapped myself g

for stuttering in his awesome presence. He must think me an idiot.

He smiled, "no one told me the prince is as gorgeous as a goddess", he winked, "am Hapumadu but you can call me happy. My friends thought the name suits me".

My cheeks must be redder than blood, his words me blush harder than a bride on her wedding night, I was beyond shy.

"I will leave you two to whatever you have to do", she looked at me, "let me know when you're having difficulties", she closed the door behind her, leaving me alone in the room with handsome guy.

"Let's commence with our study", he sat on the chair at the right leaving the one at the left open for me.

Taking a seat, I thanked the gods for not allowing me melt like a good puddle at the intensity of his looks.

"Like I was briefed", he began, "I was told you haven't unleashed your magical powers yet, am I right?",

" Are you a student or have you graduated?", I bit the inside of my cheeks, how did I allow those words leave my mind talk more of my mouth?.

He smiled, the opposite of what I expected him to do, "am a senior, and I will be graduating next year. I might not look like it, but am almost through with school", he winked, "am not as old as you thought me to be".

Truth be told, he doesn't look like a student, he looks more like a teacher than he does a student.

"If you're not a teacher like I initially thought you to be, then who're you?", don't tell me they gave me a student as a teacher, the academic board of directors must be joking for pairing me with a student instead of a learned teacher.

They must be out of their senses to think on that, I can't be expected to unleash my powers with the help of a student like me, the only difference is my lack of magical powers.

"Am the best magical student the school have ever trained, am at the top of my class", he grinned, "to answer your unasked question, the school actually f paired me with you because they thought you will learn better with a student like you're", he smiled tightly, " if you don't want me to be, I can go back and tell them your response", he shrugged, " it's no big deal actually".

I shook my head, "don't worry, it's okay. You're a better choice compared to those teachers with a student stick stuck up their arse", I smiled.

Thankfully he laughed at my words, " I thought no one else have noticed the way those teachers act especially the advanced vampire teachers", he made a face, " they act like they're the best things after our gods".

What he said concerning the vampires isn't a lie.
