Chapter 143

Am way more confused than I am with my words; I mean what in the gods' name have I been saying since?.

"Blacky why did you come to my room?", he asks this time, with a patients look on his face.

"Uh..... am... they.... will you go to the party with me?", I cringe at the words I made use of.

Seriously what's wrong with me? Blondie seems to bring out the inner devil in me, while Reddy makes me loose all coherent ( I made use of Reddy's words)thoughts.

He chuckles, "is that why you came here?", he looks amused at nervous old me.

" Yes , No", I didn't come here to ask him to a party, came here to ask him to follow me because of the dare.

He raised a single perfect eyebrow, "do you want me to follow you there or not?", he looks ready to bang the door shut at any given moment.

" Yes, I want you to follow me", I swallow the lump that formed on my throat earlier. This is easier than I thought.

I must have said those words a bit faster because the next thing I know, he banged the door closes behind him.

So much for being easier; Reddy makes everything difficult for me.

It's like he's a called tormentor; the ones the gods sent to torment my soul..

I stood there for a little while, debating if I should return to the party or if I should enter my room and pretend the sickness for two days.

The sickness pretending thing is getting better each time I think of it; it must be my getaway to have a much needed rest.

I can ask_

"Let's go", he walks past me.

I stood shocked at the door, is it really Reddy that's walking down the hallway or am I day dreaming like always?.

"Are you going to stand on my wall like a statue or are you taking me to the party?" he looks impatient.

Closing my agape mouth, I rush to stand behind him, "let's go", I murmured.

Walking together in silence we reach Aiana's room.

When we walked in, everywhere became as silent as a grave; you can seriously hear a pin drop.

The room was unceremoniously quite as they looked between me and Reddy.

Blondie's the only on who isn't surprised; he was busy putting some fruits into his mouth.

"I brought my dare", I smile at them, but no one made a move to respond or do anything other than gape open mouthed at the two of us.

Is something wrong? did anything happen?

Reddy who is obviously not in tune with the way they're looking at him, turned and walked towards an armchair.

Sitting on it, he relaxes fully like one who've found what they've being looking for.

His absence must have snapped the frozen people into action.

"How did you manage to get him here?" Aiana asked with eyes as wide as saucers ( he eyes were so round I won't be surprised if it's bigger than the whole of Makoha).
