"The Ajummuo is a human possessing more powers than a werewolf, vampire and human can ever achieve together", Kwofo spoke in hushed tones as if speaking loudly of that can conjure the spirit.
"And am telling you I defeated that same person!", I give him a deadly look.
"Ajummuo is in a prison", he says as if that's also a secret on it's own.
"A prison I unknowingly released him from", I rolled my eyes at the remembrance of the said Ajummuo's accusations.
Kwofo's eyes widened, "you released him?", he shakes his head, "you can't be him, can you?", his facial expression was that of total disbelief.
"He said I did when I touched the book he was imprisoned in", I shrug like that's not big deal at all, "a book that have a black swirling mist on it instead of the bright vibrant colors I see on others", I murmured.
"You released him from a book? ", he still have that disbelieving look on is face, " you really are the choose one", he smiles sadly.
" What's the chosen one, and why are you acting like that's not a good thing?", his expression makes it seem like it's not a good thing to be the chosen one or whatever trash he's spurting out.
"The chosen one is said to be a strong as the god of war Ikalika, he's the one Ajummuo betrayed on his quest for powers. The chosen one will have more powers than the world have ever seen; his rank will be equal to that of the gods, hence calling him Ikalika", he gives me a look, " the chosen one is the only person capable of releasing Ajummuo from his prison, and he's the one destined to kill him".
His words sounds oddly familiar, like I've heard it from somewhere.
" Why is being the chosen one a bad thing?",
" The elders seek to terminate the chosen one before he can realize his true potentials, but so far none have been detected till now", he looks up at me, his face clouded in sadness, " you're the chosen one Buch, that must be the reason you've not grown into your powers".
I broke out into an uncontrollable fit of laughter, " oh my gods, this is the greatest and funniest news of the moon", I look at the serious looking Kwofo, "you can't believe what you're telling, can you?", the stupidity of his words is not up for a debate.
"There are signs of you being the chosen one Buch", he points at my unmarred body, "you know there was no cut on your skin when I pretended to heal you?".
" I don't understand what you mean by your words Kwofo. What do you mean by your words?", I looked as confused as I was minutes ago.
" You sustained cuts in your body during your fight with Ajummuo, but there was no mark of the wounds, all that was left as evidence of it are the small dots of blood littered on your body".
