"What Blondie is trying to say dear is we won't be ashamed of whoever our other half turns out to be; we will protect till our last breath what belongs to us".
His words instead of reassuring me made me green with nothing but envy and jealousy. My heart aches from hearing their declaration to their other halves; people they've not yet met.
I try to smile, but it came out more like a false one, "your mates are one lucky people", I wish I can be the one for you two. I said those words inwardly to avoid them catching whiff of my words.
If they're to know my exact thoughts, they won't be here right this instant with me in the same room as they're.
They will make sure to always stay miles ahead of me to avoid getting snatched by my grabby hands.
We stayed as we were, no one of us making a move to leave our private cocoon until Kwofo burst into the room without knocking startling us from whatever fantasy world we were on.
"As much as I would have liked to leave you three to your devices, there are far pressing issues at hand", he turns to me with a sparkling look in his eyes, " am glad you're okay", he says to me before turning to the males behind me.
" I asked for you two to give him some blood, not for you all to remain in a tight embrace".
At his mention of blood, I licked my lips as I thought of how delicious and mouthwatering their blood tastes.
"Uh Buch?" he looks at me like one who just recently met a stranger.
"What is it?", I hate it when someone interrupts my thoughts. Most times, is I'll love to strangle the said person with my bare hands.
"Why did you lick your lips just now?"
out of all the questions I thought he will ask, this was the one he thought of?
"He says our blood tastes sweet", Blondie says without missing a beat, " he latched on to our neck, and refused to let go".
As he repeated my actions I can't help the blush that designed my face at that.
Kwofo looks pale as he said those words, " did you take blood from him?", he asked in alarm.
Reddy shook his head " we playfully threatened to do just that, but we didn't".
Blondie sighed, " thank the gods for that. Am really happy the blood exchange wasn't completed".
I looked at him like one seeing another for the first time in moons, " when did you become wise Kwofo?".
I don't really believe Kwofo's the one talking like an elder.
He smiles, "I became wise while you slept, and polished off my wisdom while you play with your vampire and wolf", he winks at me.
If I thought I've been blushing since, it's nothing compared to the blush I now have on my face, "they're not mine Kwofo", but I wish they actually are, " they have their other halves", ones I wish will die in their sleep.
