I slowly opened my eyes, the brightness of the room making my head ache.

The dripping of something by my side made me fully open my eyes.

"Glad you're finally awake, I was afraid I will dry up your blood without seeing your eyes for the last time", Kwofo says.

"Kwofo? what are you doing?", I tried to stand, but I felt something restraining me from doing so, "why am I tied?".

"To make you unable to make use of your powers till the rituals have been completed. A simple slip from you can cause moon long plans to crumble", he says as he helps me readjust my aching leg, " I can't have you fold your legs, and prevent normal blood flow".

I look at my side, at the buckeye kept under me to take my dripping blood.

"Why am I not healing?" I ask him in surprise. My unleashed powers made it so I can heal faster than even a vampire, but now am bleeding with no hope of it healing by itself.

"The rope you're tied with prevents your wond from healing by itself", he explains.

I slowly look around the room till my eyes lighted on the drawings on the floor.

" when the moon meets the sun, the stars unite. when the choosen one's blood is injected into another through a series of rituals, the receiver is gifted with two third of the chosing one, the other one third obtained when his eaten raw by the receiver".

I look up at him in alarm, " what do you mean by eaten raw? are you planning on eating me?",

" Rest assured Prince, I won't do something as s hideous as that, but that doesn't mean I won't sell your corpse to those who're willing to do the deed without being repulsed by it".

" Why are you doing this Kwofo? why do you want to take my blood that badly?".

This isn't the Kwofo I know, and grew up with, they Kwofo I know won't do anything to hurt me.

" Kwofo?", he looks confused before he blinked, " oh Kwofo, the male I took his face".

He walks over to the closet, and opened it for me to see what lies in it, " am afraid your precious Kwofo is having a nap", he grins, "I will make sure all evidence of your disappearance points back to him, don't worry he will join you in yeh land of the dead sooner than you thought", he smiles.

" Who are you? what are you doing here? how did you end up taking Kwofo's body?", I tug on the restraints, but the more I tug, the more dizzy I become.

" It will be better for you if you stop with the tugging. You will only end up causing yourself more harm than good", he smiles, " am sure you wouldn't want to faint before am through, no?".
