"I believe that's the pot's way of calling the kettle black", he raised a brow at me, "tell me who have the most rebellious steak? you have have both a werewolf and vampire friend, and I who only have a vampire friend? who among us is more rebellious?".

I thought on his words before I decide to cut him some slacks because his words are true.

"When will I get to meet him?", I asked father

"Meet who?", he blinks in confusion.

"When am I going to meet your vampire friend?", I rephrase my question.

"Oh", he blinks, "you will meet him during the meeting", Father says with a smile, " you will love him".

Father chuckled, " his father who was the third in command elder sister died mysteriously, and he had to step up to take his father's position till a suitable elder is found, but so far none have been found,so he's stuck as an elder for as long as it will take for the vampires to get a new elder".

" You seem to know everything that happens in the vampire kingdom, I guess your friend is the one supplying those to you?", I raised a brow at him.

" Yeah, he tells me what happened in the vampire's kingdom everytime he visits", father smiled, " he visits to keep me company".

The more father talks about this mysterious elder, the more my hunch becomes true.

Should I ask Father if he's dating a vampire?

That will sound somehow, not only that, he will deny it because he knows of he admits to it, and someone hears of it from my mouth, he will be in danger of the law.

I guess we two have secrets we're not willing to share with others.
