The elder looked at the prince for a long time before he nods, "I will let it slide now".
"Your highness, am sorry on his behalf", Blondie bows lowly to Father.
" It's okay, you don't have to apologize son, I understand him and his fears", Father says with a smile before turning to the elder, " hope you don't have any more problems with the sleeping arrangements? ".
The elder gives father a long look before noddipng, "please go ahead".
I walk out first with my mates close behind me.
As per the customs of Ugali, any visitor that comes into the throne room will leave the same way they came.
I walk my mates to their different rooms.
"As much as I will love to take a tour of my temporary room, I can't wait anymore. Where's your room?", Blondie looks at me in question.
" My room?", I blink at them in confusion, " why will you want to go to my room while we have two empty rooms devoid of people?".
It doesn't make sense they don't want to be here but my room.
"Your room is the safer bet Blacky, not only because it has your scent in it, but because of the maids who change the sheets.
We're aware Kwofo is the one who takes care of your dirty laundry, so we don't have to be afraid of anyone finding out of something as private as that", Reddy answers.
His words makes a lot of sense it you think deeply about it.
"Okay let's go", I lead them to my room which happened to five doors or so from me.
I had to really beg and promise the impossible to Father just for him to agree to let the two stay in my
wing.
"Our room is in the royal family's quarter?", Blondie widened his eyes.
"I begged before I was allowed to arrange a room for you here. This is my personal wing, and I thought to share it with you two", I said you two instead of mates In case someone is listening in on us.
I don't trust the Werewolf elder enough not to believe he won't actually do that
"After you", I opened the door, and gestured for them to enter before me.
It's a custom in Ugali that a visitor enters before you( I guess this particular law was made by the men who are afraid of people sneaking up on them).
"Your room here isn't any different from the one you have back at the academy", Reddy says when I entered in after them.
"How different can it be? you know it's not possible for the two rooms I owe to be different from each other", I lock the door behind me, and turned towards my mates.
" You won't have that little smile on your face when we're through with you Mate", Reddy says as he pinned me to the wall, "you will be busy glaring at is when we're through in showing you how much we missed you".
