It was after Elder Francis made a comment on how long my hair have become.

"Little Buchim, your hair is now too long for a little boy to have. You should cut it low", Elder Francis told me one morning when I went to the first Elders' meeting with father .
" I will do that when I return home with Father", I respectfully bowed before him.
" You don't have to worry about that little prince, I can help you with your hair cutting, am actually an expert in that", Elder Habu smiled at naive little me, and I allowed him cut my hair.
And let's just say I didn't come out from my room till the elapse of two weeks, and since then, I've hated anything Habu related.

"The letter was about a mutual meeting between us", Father says in answer to Elder Habu's question.
" A mutual meeting? ", Elder Lik asked, "what does that mean?".
"Why will they want to have a mutual meeting with us?", Elder Francis asked, and that caused another uproar in the entire throne room.
Father coughed to get their attention, "they want us to have a common ground in terms of things relating to the progress of Makoha".
"Progress of Makoha? which youngling thought of those?" Elder Tank asked.
"Permission to speak?", I ask Elder Lik directly.
Far be it another person beside the king speaks without permission first from the elders.
"Permission granted", Elder Lik smiled kindly at me.
" The reason for the mutual meeting isn't all about younglings and our ways. This is about the future of Makoha...."
" Future of what? is Makoha not moving forward for you to talk of it's future? ", Elder Francis asked, " tell me what you hope to gain from this so called mutual meeting? I tell you it's their method of getting us to their Kingdom where they will proceed to strip us of anything related to kingdoms running".
" What Elder Francis said makes sense", Elder Tank said, " the only reason they're asking us to come to a mutual gathering is to get us at our helpless point, and do away with us. It's not the first time the werewolves and Vampires have joined forces against us, and I tell you it won't be the last".
As I listened to their words, I can't help the bitterness I felt in my soul.
If the elders didn't approve of the meeting, am afraid father won't agree to send those letters out, and of he doesn't send those letters out, it will mean I won't get to meet my mates, which is a no no for me.
"My elders, the meeting they're asking for will take place in out kingdom, and not on theirs. If it takes place in our kingdom, it will mean they will be the ones at odd of they try anything funny.
Ugali as a whole is capable of fighting for it's kingdom, king and high prince, I don't think they will be willing to fold their hands while we're destroyed from the inside", Father says.
