Elder Okwuonu looks ready to say another word, but a look from Blondie made him shut his mouth.

"As you wish my prince", he walks out but not without giving me a backward glare.

"I need to meet my father", I tell my mates, "I have something important to ask him".

"Let's escort you?", Blondie volunteers.

" You can wait for me at our room", I smile at them.

What am about to ask Father is between I and him, I don't want others to be privy of it if he wants to keep it a secret.

"Are you sure you don't want us to escort you? you know we can do anything for you", Reddy smiled.

They escorted me to the door, and we walked towards the right back to my room while I walked to the left.

I checked on father in his study, but he was nowhere to be found.

I checked in his garden and personal Lounge, but he wasn't there.

I almost gave up hope of seeing him until I heard voices from his room.

I walked into his room since it was slightly ajar which was unlike Father.

"I have to leave", I heard the vampire elder say,

"Stay a little while", I heard father say.

"I can't, what if my prince starts looking for me?", I heard the vampire elder say.

" He won't, I bet my son is keeping them company. Trust my son to be the perfect host".

I felt guilty for eavesdropping on their conversations, and for that, I decided to make my presence known at the wrong time....

I might have had a hunch on them being lovers, but seeing them kissing was more than I bargained.

"Son", father looked shocked at me.

"Father", I gave the two a look, "elder", I nod at the pink cheeked vampire.

" It's not what it seems", Father said with a look.

I raise a brow, " not what it seems?", I placed my hand under my jaw, "kissing another male isn't what it seems?".

The elder swallowed before looking up at Father for assistance.

"Son we can talk about this later?", he says with a forced smile.

"There's nothing to talk about father", I frowned when I thought of something.

I might be okay with them dating or whatever they might be doing now, but I want to get something clear.

"Where you cheating on mother with him?", i raise a brow at them.

i can clearly recall when father talked of them being classmates.

Would it be they were dating before he got joined with mother?

As impossible as it sounds, I can't overlook stuffs like that.

"What do you mean?", Father narrows his eyes on anger, " who do you take me for? a man who will cheat on his helper? ".

The elder placed a hand on Father's shoulder before he turned to me, "we just got together".
