"Close your eyes and pray with me, am trying to make a supplication to mu gods.

Not only do I not want to tell them, but am avoiding either them stopping me, or telling me how impossible the feat am trying yo achieve truly is.

"Supplication to your gods?" They raised a brow " why are you suddenly being religious?"

I shrug "in Ugali, before you travel. You must pray to the gods for protection, else you won't get what it is you're searching for. "

I closed my eyes, and when none said any word I deduced they might have closed their eyes.

" Don't make any sound. Say those words in your mind, and no matter what you hear, don't shout or open your eyes. "

I don't want them disturbing me yet again, and for that reason, I asked for quietness.

"Okay," they simultaneously agreed.

i pictured the forest, the surrounding check towers near the palace, and willed myself to take me there.

I've never teleported, neither have I heard of another doing so, but I can pray and hope I can be able to do so.

I've done things no other human can boast of, why then can't I teleport?

I opened my eyes, expecting to be disappointed but what I saw made me widen my eyes in disbelief.

"He shouldn't have done that!" I heard Reddy shout in anger " what if he did wound himself permanently for doing this? i know he have the goodness of out heart in his, but why will he risk his life and that of our baby to get us here faster."

i heard him stomp the ground in anger.

"How did he manage to do that? I know humans have different magical powers, but none is known to possess so powerful a power."

Blondie's tone was indescribable. I can't tell if he's angry or happy.

" So powerful it knocked him out cold? so powerful we don't know if a lasting damage have been done to him or the baby?"

Reddy sounds more angry than I've ever heard him. The stomping of his feet getting so loud and angry.

" We know you're awake," Blondie calls to me " stop acting like you're asleep."

i heard footsteps coming closer to me, and when I opened my eyes I was met with the angry stares from my mates especially Reddy.

"Do you know what you did?!" Reddy boomed in anger. The sound causing me to flinch back in fear.

i know they won't hurt me, but my brain can't help but do so.

Reddy's face softens "am sorry Blacky," he knelt beside me "am just angry at you for what will happen to you in case what you did have a negative side effect. Am angry because you didn't think of yourself when you decided to try the magic."
