"Are you sure he's going to return?" I asked Ije.

It's being hours since Blondie left, but he's yet to come back, and that's making me real worried.

What if something have happened to him?

"He will return," Ije looked convinced as she said those words.

" What if something have happened to him? what if they've caught him? "

" He will be alright Buch you don't have to worry about him, " Elit placed a hand on my shoulders.

" How sure are you?" I looked towards the place he went into, but there was nothing to signify if he's caught or not.

" Don't worry Buch. He will surely return."

" Let's go, " Blondie said the moment he returned.

"You're back?" I leaped up from the blanket I was sitting on, mas tightly embraced him to myself.

"You really missed me this much?" he raised a brow. His brows arching perfectly.

"He had us on our toes with how worried he was about you. " Elit smiled.

"Let's leave." Blondie packed the things on the floor. "It won't be long before the search party arrives. They must have perceived my scent."

"Did you find your brother?" Ije asked as she helped him pack the things while the girls packed theirs.

"No, but I left something for him. If he finds it, he will know where to find us."

We walked for a long time after we left the clearing. My legs aching me like no man's business.

"How long till we reach where we're going to?" I stopped when my aching legs started swelling up.

"Let's stop here then. We can't go on with you being like this," Blondie spread the blanket, and helped me sit on it.

I know I should at least feel a little guilty about what am doing, but I don't have the strength to be ashamed.

"Where are we heading to after this?" Ije asked.

"We will go into town. Find an inn and lodge there till my brother comes. "

"We will be found out the Moen we step out foot into a werewolf town. How do you propose we do all that without detention?"

Have our flight made Blondie forget the advanced sense of smell of his people?

" That's why I have this, " he brings out a blue looking vial from his pocket. "It will help mask out scent for a day or two, I hope that's enough time for us before brother finds us."

" Are you sure your brother will be in support of this?" Elit raised a brow.

I don't blame her for being skeptical. I that have met him is having a real hard time deciding if the person I met will be in support of his brother because I know not all wolves like Humans.

Infact, only one of hundred wolves actually love humans, and the one who do is Blondie.

"My brother doesn't mind being with humans. All he wants is peace."

Blondie smiled at his words. He must really love his brother this much for him to smile just by talking about him.
