"You killed him?" I asked the most idiotic question of the century.

"As you can see." She walked towards me.

"Don't go anywhere nearer to him," Reddy barred his teeth at her.

" Are you jealous? don't worry, I will be there for you." She turned to me "your mate was really confident you won't be found here, but see us now." She laughed.

"What do you want to do with me?" I frown at her. I won't give her the satisfaction of seeing how affected I am by merely being here.

"What I want to do with you?" she laughed. " I want your powers." She trailed her fingers on my caged body.

" My powers? " I laughed at her words. " How do you propose to do that?"

I really don't know why she wants to have my powers so badly.

"It's mine to know." She walked towards a chained Happy. "I really did take you as a son, but you betrayed me."

"You were the one who betrayed me. You betrayed not only my trust, but my Innocence." Happy spat on the floor.

Mistress backhanded him, a sneer on her face " you dare accuse me of betraying you when you were the one who betrayed out union?" She slapped him again. A sneer on her face.

" You're not worthy of talking about our union. You're a failure to other mothers." He narrowed his eyes to a glare. " You're not worthy of calling me a son."

" Worthy? you talk about me not being worthy while you're the one unworthy of calling me mother." She touched his cheeks. " You would have enjoyed being my son. The heir to the academy, but you betrayed me. You betrayed your mother for someone whose unworthy of you!" She turned towards me. Her eyes blazing like fire. " You were the reason my son turned his back on us, without you, he wouldn't have done all he've done. He wouldn't have turned his back on me!" she opened her palm towards me.

Balls of fire were released towards me.

"Ahhh!" I cried out in pain as the fire touched me. The burn from it was much. Too much I was afraid of getting burnt.

"Stop!" Reddy tugged the chain that's holding on to him. His muscles bulging from the pain ignited on him by the magic repellent on the chains.

"And what will you do? You're too weak to do anything other than watch as I do whatever I please with your mate," she laughed. The sound resounding in the hall.

"I might be too weak now, but I won't be forever."

" You have a hope of Leaving here? " she turned towards him, a smirk on her face " you're going to die here with your mate. Isn't that what you want? "

"If anyone is dying here, you're the one." Reddy growled. His fangs showcasing, but it wasn't long.

" You're being held by a magic repellent. Fighting against it will lead to your death blood sucker." Mistress laughed.
