CHAPTER 24: A powerful enemy (2).

Eve is in the restroom for ladies; she sits on the toilet in one of the toilet stalls replaying what happened when she overheard the conversation between two ladies outside;

"I heard that Miss Natasha left the office in anger" said the first lady; "yeah and I heard it's because of she insulted his fianceé and accused him of faking his engagement" said the second lady;

"Miss Natasha doesn't seem to like the boss's fianceé and it seems she is not ready to back down and wants to fight for our boss attention" the first lady said;

"Guess the CEO's fianceé has a competitor who hates her, I would love to see how all this ends" said the second lady; both of them laughs while leave the restroom; when Eve was sure they were gone she came out and her stall and exclaims while regretting agreeing to her boss's proposal; "oh my god!!" Shouted Eve.

The day goes on with Eve being moody and down because she just got herself an enemy and not just any enemy a rich and powerful one; End of work hours reached and she goes home with Charlie.

Charlie has noticed that ever since Eve went to the restroom, she was behaving strangely; he doesn't know why he is worried but he is and he going to find out; so he asked for the video of the restroom and found out about what those two female employees was saying and guessed she must have heard what they said but he have to assure her that he wouldn't let anything or anyone bring harm to her; 

They arrive at the house and they were greeted by the maids and butler Leo; Eve replies them back but her unhappiness is showing; she goes to her room, freshens up and lays on her bed; few minutes later she heard a knock on the door; " who is there?" Eve asked; 

"Dinner is ready and young master is waiting for you at the dinning table" said Evelyn;

"Okay, I will be down in a minute" Eve said and struggles to get out of bed because she was already sleepy.

Hello guys let me give a run down of the people walking in Charlie's house:

Janice: she is a kind woman who has been serving Charlie since he was little and she has a daughter Evelyn.

Evelyn: she is equally kind and a smart girl. She is a scholarship student at the university managed by JK cooperation.

Butler Leo: he has worked the longest in the house, he worked for his father before he started working for Charlie after he moved out of the family house.

There are other employees working in Charlie's house, but they aren't relevant as the ones mentioned above.
