CHAPTER 31: I love you (1)

Eve comes out of the bathroom and sees Charlie and it seems to be thinking about something; she goes and taps him on his shoulder, "aren't you going to prepare for work?"; He doesn't answer him and she taps him again, "Hey! Hey!! Am done with the bathroom, you can go use it" Eve said taping his shoulder vigorously;

Charlie jolted out of his thoughts and said "okay"; he heads to the bathroom to freshen up for work.

By the time he was done, Eve was already prepared and is already in the living room waiting for him to be done and they should leave; Charlie goes to the living room and sees Eve and both of them leave the house.

They got to the company; entered the personal elevator that leads to his office; the atmosphere in the elevator becomes awkward; Charlie stares at Eve while Eve continuously steals glances at Charlie to know whether he is still looking at her; "wtf! Why is he steal looking at me? Don't he have another place to face, why does he keep looking at me; Eve prays for the elevator to open; after minutes of waiting, the elevator opens and Eve immediately walks out of the elevator;

Charlie goes into office and sees his secretary waiting for him and he goes to sit down; "what is it?" Charlie asked; "sir you have a meeting with the channel company from America regarding the photoshoot next month" Dan said.

"When is the meeting?" Charlie asked; "by 10am sir" Dan said; 

"Okay you can go" he waves his hand as a signal for Dan to leave; Dan bends his head and leaves the office.

Charlie turns to Eve; "arrange the documents needed for the meeting" Charlie said;

"Okay" Eve said; she started typing the documents.

The meeting lasted for about an hour and although he wasn't fully focused before Eve has been on his mind through out the meeting; he heads to his office after the meeting ended.

The time for them to go home reached and Eve and Charlie hurriedly finished with their work and left the company.

They got to the house and Eve rushes to their room to freshen up; Charlie looks at her figure disappear, he chuckled and followed after her; when he got to the room Eve was already lying on the bed facing the otherside; Eve is lying down when she heard the door open, she pretends that she is asleep; Charlie goes straight into the bathroom and freshen up for bed.

He is comes out of the bathroom and goes to the bed and lies down next to Eve.

"Eve! Eve!!" Charlie called; Eve thought about pretending to be asleep but he continued to call her; "hmmm.." she hummed; "there is what I want us to talk about" Charlie said;

Eve sits up on the bed, "what is it?" Eve asked; Charlie stares at Eve for somewhile and said, "I love you"; 

Eve was speechless and shocked.
