CHAPTER 38: A PROGRESS IN OUR RELATIONSHIP.

The sun shines through the open curtains which makes her to wake up; after a while what happened last night begins to come into her memory and she turns to check if Charlie is with her on the bed, but she finds the spot empty and wondered where he would be; she waves the thought of where he is when she heard a knock on the door;

"What is it?" Eve asked.

"Master said you should come down for breakfast" said the maid; "okay, be there in a minute" Eve said.

"Okay Miss Eve" the maid said.

Eve runs to the bathroom to freshen up and hurries to the dinning room.

When she got to the dinning room, she heard a familiar voice;

"You are finally awake?" Charlie asked; Eve blushed hard and sits down to eat.

"Can I ride with you to work in your car?" Eve asked anxiously waiting for his answer; 

Charlie looks at her expectant face and said, "okay"; Eve eyes brimmed with joy as she thanked him;

Eve hurries up with her food and goes to her room to get ready for work.

As she gets to the front door, she saw Charlie waiting for her with his hands in his pockets and resting his back on his car, she thought to herself "he is really handsome" as she thought about that she waves off the thought immediately and goes to him; Charlie opens the door for her and she enters, he closes the door and goes into the car and drives to the office.

During lunch break, Eve meet up with her friends Nars and Sue in the company cafeteria;

"Hey girl!" Nars and Sue; "hey guys, how have you been?" Eve asked.

"We've been fine and you, how are you doing?" They (Nars and Sue) said while giggling at Eve.

"I'm fine" Eve said; Nars and Sue were still looking at her still giggling as if expecting some certain response from her; she became suspicious of them.

"Is there anything else you need?" Eve asked.

"Really?" Sue said.

"Tell us what's up with you and Charlie" Nars said.

"Oh...." Eve said while her mouth made an 'o' shape, "Well nothing happened, so forget about it" Eve added.

"Okay, since you don't want to tell us anything, it's your choice just know that when you are ready to talk we will be ready to give you listening ears" Sue said.

"Okay, thanks" Eve said smiling.

After they ate, they all went back to their work station to continue their work.

Eve went back to Charlie's office and sat down at her desk to continue her work when she heard Charlie call her;

"Eve" Charlie called.

"Hmmm.. sorry sir, is there anything you need?" Eve asked.

"Hm..we need to talk about last night" Charlie said.

Eve immediately froze upon hearing what he said, she gulped down an invisible spit down before she said "ok..aay" 

"what do you think about my feelings?" Charlie said.
