CHAPTER 92: SWEET REVENGE (1)
"Pervert! You are so wicked! See what you have done to me! I can't stand!" Eve shouted at Charlie.
"Sorry wifey but I was drugged and you voluntered to help me which I add m very happy about" Charlie said chuckling.
"I did agree but I didn't say you should break me into pieces now all my body is aching!" Eve shouted. Charlie hugged her and used his hand to rummage through her hair.
"Sorry, don't worry next time I will be careful" Charlie said.
"What do you mean next time! We are not doing it again until I say so! Now take me to the bathroom to freshen up!" Eve shouted.
"Okay" Charlie said laughing at Eve's reaction and facial expression. He went to the bathroom and prepared the bath for her, he came back to the room and he carried her princess style into the bathroom room and he went to the next room to freshen up.
After Eve was done cleaning up she regained some of her strength and came out but she didn't see Charlie in the room. She heard a knock on the door, a maid informed her that Charlie said she should come down for breakfast.
"Miss Eve, Mr Charles said I should inform you that you should come down for breakfast before the food gets cold" the maid told Eve.
"Okay, tell him I will be down in a minute" Eve said signaling the maid to go. The maid bowed her head before she leaves the room.

Dinning room....
"Sir, Miss Eve said she would be down in a minute" the maid informed Charlie.
"Okay, start serving the food" Charlie said.
"Okay sir" the maid said, bowed her head and goes to the kitchen to serve the food.
Few minutes later Eve came down and joined Charlie in the dinning room.
"How is your body now?" Charlie asked Eve.
"Although I am still feeling some numbness here and there but overall all I am fine" Eve said serving herself from the delicious looking dishes on the table.
"Where are you feeling numb?" Charlie asked. Eve surprised and was speechless because she was not expecting the question Charlie asked.
"You don't need to know about that" Eve said looking face down at her food, her ears has become red.
Charlie cleared his throat as he figures out why Eve can't say where is feeling numb and remembers their activities last night, "damn I would have been careful last night!" He thought.
"Charlie I have a favour to ask, will you grant it?" Eve asked Charlie suddenly pulling him out of his thoughts.
"Hmm?" Charlie hummed.
"I said I have a favour to ask, will you grant it?" Eve asked.
"Oh, okay I will" Charlie answered immediately.
"Just like that?" Eve asked surprised that Charlie agreed without even knowing what she wants to ask for.
"Yes, any problem?" Charlie asked confused.
"Not exactly but the fact you just agreed to grant me a favour without knowing what I want to ask is surprising to me" Eve said.
Charlie looked at Eve and just said to her six words, "I can do anything for you."
"Even if I tell you to give me half of your assets?" Eve asked.
"Yes and if you want I can give you all my assets" Charlie said smiling at Eve.
"Well forget that because that's not what I want from you. I want revenge on my uncle and his family and I want you to help me dig out any information that can bring them down" Eve said.
"Is that all?" Charlie asked.
"Yes, that's all" Eve said continuing eating her food.
"How will you use it to bring your uncle down? You know he has connections" Charlie said.
"Yes he has but none of them is as powerful and influential as yours, right?" Eve asked.
"Yes" Charlie said happy that Eve is trusting him with a task for her revenge instead of doing it on her own knowing how powerful her uncle is he would try to suppress her but he would make sure her plan succeed.
"So what is the plan?" Charlie asked.
Eve looked at Charlie and smiled slyly and said, "you will see... The Devan corporation is celebrating their 20th anniversary tomorrow and I am very sure they would invite you so as to curry favour from you and it's on that day I would carry out my plan."
"Then I look forward to it. Now let's eat and go to work because we are already late" Charlie said.
"Okay but I won't do much work as I am worn out because of last night" Eve said complaining.
"On a second thought, why not we stay at home and continue what we were doing last night?" Charlie said teasing Eve.
"No! Pervert! Aren't you tired!? No need we would go to work!" Eve shouted as she stood up and storms out of the dinning room to their room. Charlie begins to laugh, he loves her angry self because she is cute when she is angry.
Charlie picks his phone and dialed a number. It rang two times before it was picked up by someone and cries of people been tourtured can be heard from the background.
"Hello boss" Sazuki said.
"Get me information George Anderson's illegal activities and make sure I get it by tomorrow morning" Charlie said with his cold voice.
"Yes boss" Sazuki replied.
Satisfied with his answer, Charlie hangs up the phone and heads upstairs to their room to get ready for the day.

Charlie's office....
Charlie was busy with his work when he heard a knock on the door.
"Come in" Charlie said.
Dan opens the door and enters the office, "sir an invitation to the 20th anniversary of the Devan corporation just arrived for you."
"Oh, leave it on the desk and you can go" Charlie said.
"Okay sir" Dan said and drops the invitation card on Charlie's table and leaves the office.
After Charlie has signed the final document that needs his signature, then he picks the invitation card on his desk and smirked and said, "let's wait and see" he said turning his revolving chair facing the french window in his office.

Charlie's mansion......
Living room.......
Charlie and Eve were watching TV when Charlie remembered the invitation card.
"As you said the Andersons sent me an invitation card to their company's anniversary later today" Charlie said.
"Really?" Eve asked but was not surprised about the news.
"Yes. They actually sent me an invitation to their company's anniversary after what they tried to do. It's really funny" Charlie said.
"Yeah and it's because they have no shame and conscience, if they can collect the company from their relative, what else is there that they cannot do" Eve said her words out of spite and anger for her uncle and his family.
"Charlie responded by drawing Eve into his embrace and both of them continued watching the show been broadcasted on the television.

Devan corporation's 20th anniversary celebration......
The occasion is attended by many influential people, both businesemrn and women, celebrities. Cameras clicking continuously because reporters wants to get a shot of the guests and also juicy scoop if possible.
A black BMW arrived and Adriana and her parents are seen coming out from it. Immediately the reporters focused their cameras to capture them as they are the organizers of the event. Many pictures were taken and Adriana did not fail to show her most impressive smile and poses to the media. After the red carpet all went inside as the event is starting.
Few hours into the event starting and Charlie has not yet arrived making people to start gossiping.
"But the main guest of the event is not yet here!"
"Mr Charles Powell isn't here yet"
"Will he really come?"
People were beginning to doubt of Charlie would attend the event but their thoughts were distracted by the sudden commotion at the door. As everyone looks at the door they saw a handsome and sexy looking man and they were shocked silly.
