CHAPTER 155
Flashback begins~~~~~
"What brings the almighty Charles Powell to my old apartment? What do you want Mr Powell?" Mr Wall asked sarcastically. He sat down on a chair in the living room and invited Charlie who is still standing to sit.
"So you do know who I am?" Charlie asked smirking.
"Of course I do, who does not know you in the whole of New York" Mr Wall said.
"Since you know who I am, then you should know what I can do to you if you do not answer all the questions I am going to ask you now, right?" Charlie asked Mr Wall. His demeanor has changed and he had an expressionless face that you can not know what he is thinking. Mr Wall's confidence in himself diminished when he saw the look on Charlie's face and the tone of voice he used to talked to him.
"Y...yy...yes I know Mr Powell" Mr Wall stammered.
"Very good" Charlie stretches his hand towards secretary Dan and seeing his boss's hand, he knew his boss wanted him to give him the envelope. He opened the suitcase and gave the brown envelope to his boss. Charlie took it, he opened the envelope and took out some pictures in it and threw it on the table in front of Mr Wall.
"Why did you meet George Anderson?" Charlie asked. Mr Wall did not look at the pictures before answering Charlie.
"I.... I... What do you mean by why did I meet George Anderson? I simply just met him because he was my long time friend from back in the day" Mr Wall said hoping Charlie would believe him. Although him and George were long time friends but that was not the only reason George met with him and if he were tell Charlie about what he and George talked about, then he is sure he is done for.
George actually asked for his help to destroy his niece, Eve. He asked him to use his connections to find him a place to stay in the neighboring city when they go there and also some men to ensure their smooth escape. Mr Wall agreed to all this and helped him regardless of the risks involved, all because George is his friend.
And now if he tells Charlie that he help George escape and even plan to take revenge on his wife,, he is definitely a goner.
"You do not want to talk? Do you want me to use the hard way to make you talk? Is that what you want?" Charlie asked gritting his teeth to curb his anger. His patience is already running out.
"No... No... Mr Powell do not use the hard way, but the thing is that I can not tell you, if I tell you, I know you will not hesitate and definitely kill me when I am done talking!" Mr Wall knelt down on the floor and his hands clapped together, looking at Charlie with a pleading eyes. He is really scared of what Charlie would do to him if he tells him everything.
"I would not have to do you anything if you just f**king tell me what George and you talked about" Charlie shouted. He looked at Mr Wall with bloodshot eyes.
"You would not do anything to me right?" Mr Wall asked to be sure he would be safe after he told Charlie.
"Once Mr Powell makes a promise, he would not go against it, so you better start talking if you want to still keep your life" secretary Dan was the one who spoke to Mr Wall.
"Well George is planning to elope with his wife and daughter to the neighbouring city tomorrow by using the secret underground tunnel and...." Mr Wall stopped talking.
"Go on" Charlie said.
"He is still planning to take revenge on your wife but that will be after he has successfully escaped the city...." Mr Wall continued telling Charlie everything that he discussed with George.

"Let's see who laughs last, George. I will make sure you and your family never see the daylight ever again!" Charlie smirked and continues reading and signing the documents on his desk.

Later the same day, Sue, Ginger and Racheal came to visit her in the house. They claimed that it was to see the baby but Eve knew that Sue must have opened her mouth to blab to Ginger and Racheal about what happened last night.
"Hey babe!" Sue voice rang out in the empty living room. Eve heard her voice and came out to greet her.
"Hey guys!" Eve greeted them smiling and they hugged each other.
"How are you doing?" Racheal asked.
"I am fine and you?" Eve asked.
"I am good. Where is your baby? How is he doing?" Racheal asked.
"He is doing fine and he is in his room. He just fell asleep" Eve said.
"Oh, okay. We actually came to visit him but since he is asleep and we are already here let us chat about something else" Sue blurted out and went to sit down on on couch.
"Yes, we can not just come and go like that" Ginger said following Sue to sit down on the couch. Racheal and Eve left with no choice also sat down.
"So tell us how you went about the deed last night because maybe I think I should do the same to my husband" Ginger said eagerly.
"Really? You told them?" Eve looked at Sue sighing.
"Yes, of course I told them, aren't they friends?" Sue said.
"Just tell us!" Racheal said impatient. Eve was surprised.
"Ok I will" Eve said.
Eve told them everything, from the candlelight dinner to how she seduced Charlie. The ladies could not help but grin, blush and giggle left and right.
"You are really a sheep in wolf's clothing!" Ginger and Racheal shouted together.
