CHAPTER 17

Ruth came from the bathroom and found Martin was still seated on top of the bed. 

" Come and sit beside me darling. It's been long since we came closer to each other. Tell me all the fairy tales that you know. I might as well want to listen to them" said Martin smiling. 

 " Not now love. I really need to change into my new fisher dress. It would be better for the rest of the day if we make such fairy tales. Love, please leave. Ask Lady Akeshia to come and help me choose the best dress for dinner"

" Dinner again! I thought that you told me that you indeed wanted to rest. You are such that kind of a girl. Fine! Let's go. Purist must be waiting for us at the dining table"

" Alright love. I will be waiting for Lady Akeshia" Ruth said as an assurance that she indeed needed Lady Akeshia's help. 

Martin was astonished by her sudden change. Before, Ruth did not want any help from Lady Akeshia but now she was so much eager for much of her help. 

Lady Akeshia arrived in a short while which astonished Ruth. Ruth had already choosen the best dinner dress she could think of. She was happy as lark when Lady Akeshia happily confirmed that it was the best costume. 

" Help me put the dress on lady Akeshia. This is going to be my best dinner since I really that this dinner will be a suggestion for a good good hope for me tomorrow. How I wished that my mother Naomi was here to share with me this glorious dinner. Hold my arm and take me down stairs .After all, you are my personal assistant. I also congratulate you on how you translate and handle the cases" said Ruth smiling .

Lady Akeshia held her arm and escorted her downstairs to the dining. She ensured that she had sat and finally served her the mashed potatoes with stewed meat. She silently ate as Martin and Purist watched her with total admiration. It really made he happy that she could not hold her laugh. Anything out of the obvious usually made her to laugh to an extent that she found it hard to control herself. 

" Don't you all look at me like that. It makes me feel shy which burdens my soul since I am a mother for an instant. And I know that in a few years , my daughter would be a lady and will have to behave in a way that truly impress others" said Ruth smiling. 

" Of course mother. And I hope that you will never worry because I will never mention my mother in this place. I also want to do away with the old toys and use the ones that you bought for me mother. I really like them so much. I am already full mother. I would rather go to my room and sleep" said Purist who left the dining accompanied by Lady Nana.

She always had to ensure that Purist had already slept before she left her room. 

" I am still looking forward to your delicious meal. Maybe we should wait till you get well and pass your interview. Remember, I do not like my wife being assisted on her cooking. I like her to her own handy work" said Martin smiling.

" Of course love. What I will cook for you will be exactly what my mother taught me. I am a hundred percent sure" Ruth said smiling too. 

This was an unexpected kind of love . The kind of love which only the couples rejoiced at.
