CHAPTER 92
Martin had suspected that it was Faith since Faith had left the closer gates without a trace only to come back as friends with Ruth. Their bond entirely shocked everyone.
As soon as they arrived at the closer gates, Martin immediately ordered for the presence of Akeshia who came at once. Akeshia was astonished once she entered the mansion and found out that Faith had been tied by a rope all over her body. Martin was carrying a cain in her arm ready to beat up Faith.
" Mama! My daughter is missing. Sone goons have attacked us and taken her away. Thus has made me to suspect that it is Fauth and that is the main reason I want to punish her till the truth comes out of her mouth" said Martin angrily.
" I have told you that I do not know anything .I am not even capable of harming anyone especially kidnapping that person. Can't you understand that you are doing exactly what those kidnappers want you to do? Have you forgotten that you had been taken to the cell of hell because of being framed by Tere? Stop doing this and let me go Martin" said Faith but Martin immediately took a piece of cloth and used it to tie on Faith's mouth.
Akeshia went close to Faith as tears welled down her eyes. She tried to untie her but Martin stopped her claiming that he would kill himself if Akeshia decided to release Faith.
" Please do not do this to Faith. Faith is your only sister and I do not really think that she is capable of doing such a thing. Please untie her and let us give her a benefit of doubt. I am sure that this is a frame up just like what had happened to us that separated us few years ago" Said Akeshia as tears welled down her eyes.
Martin went close to Akeshia and wiped her tears. He had never seen Akeshia so heartbroken before.
" Mama! I was not even planning to do anything to her. I was just scaring her in order to know if she was the one who ordered the kidnappers to do so inorder not to go to Ruth's place" said Martin.
Martin immediately untied Faith. He had lied to his mother so that his mother won't feel hurting. The truth is that he had planned to beat up Faith and ensure that he had taken her to the cell of hell till Purist finally came back. Martin decided to go upstairs in order to rest for a while. As soon he arrived, he was surprised to find a letter hanging on the window pane of his room. He immediately went and took it. He opened the letter and was surprised to find out that it was wedding card. It was sent to him by Tere. This meant that Tere was the one who had kidnapped Purist and she wanted to push on with the wedding. Martin immediately went to the parlor and found Faith and Akeshia still seated there taking coffee.
" You have to help me Faith. I need to find Ruth right away so that she can tell me where she took Tere. I have just found out that it is Tere who has kidnapped Purist" said Martin as he handed over the wedding card to Faith.
Faith read the wedding card and returned it to Martin. She immediately stood up and went to the kitchen since she wanted to return the cups of coffee that they had used. She therefore came back to her parlor and picked her handbag since she wanted to leave.
" I beg you to help" said Martin he held Faith's arm preventing her from leaving.
" I cannot anything to help me Martin. You did not even give me a benefit of doubt till mama came and pleaded with you to help me go. I have other things to do with my life and helping is least of my priorities" said Faith angrily.
" You must understand that the person we are talking about is your niece Purist" said Martin.
" And you must understand that the person who has kidnapped her is her mother Tere. I am apsalutely sure that Tere cannot do anything bad to harm her daughter. My own brother would not do anything to harm me no matter what and so I have to leave" said Faith who wanted to leave but Martin still did not allow her to.
" We are your family" said Martin in a pellucid voice.
" You are not my family. What did you do many years back when father made a decision to take me out of the closer gates? You did nothing to defend me. And now that your own daughter is kidnapped then you couldn't even be able to give me a benefit of doubt. You just have to let me go Martin because I am never going to help you" said Faith who left the closer gates.
She wanted to have sometime herself and therefore she knew that if she stayed at the closer gates then no one would allow her to. Later on she discovered that being alone was not what she wanted, she actually needed someone to speak to. She decided to go to Ruth's place to visit her. She knocked on the door and Naomi opened. She ushered her in. Faith immediately entered and went to sit beside Ruth.
" Friend! Can you and I have a talk privately?" said Faith filled with lots of curiosity.
She did not know if Ruth would want to spare sometime for her since she was already busy with her work. Ruth accepted her request and switched off her computer. Both Faith and Ruth went to the garden. Faith sat as tears welled down her eyes.
" What is it Faith? I will always gave time for you" asked Ruth filled with lots of curiosity.
" The matter is with Martin. Purist has been kidnapped and he wants me to help him by telling your location. I cannot do that after the way he has mishandled me claiming that I am the one who has kidnapped Purist. Can you imagine that he tied me up and wanted to beat then afterwards take me to the cell of hell? Something bad could have happened to me if mama did not interfere" said Faith crying.
Ruth went close to her and hugged her. She felt bad that Martin had done such kind of a thing to Faith. It truly meant that he was still prideful like he used to be before.
" Then don't tell him my location. You and I will do everything to find where Purist is without him. Purist is still my daughter and your niece and she has no fault in this" said Ruth smiling.
" She has been kidnapped by Tere and Haggai. Martin knew about this when he went into his room and saw the wedding card invitation that had been hanged in his window. That is why it is important for us to check if Tere and Haggai are exactly where we placed them to be" said Faith.
Ruth agreed with Faith's idea which made them to immediately leave the house. They went to the abandoned house which they had taken Haggai and Tere to live in but they did not find them there. They found that all the bodyguards whom they had placed there to help were not there. They searched for them and were astonished to find them at the backyard in a pool of blood.
" What happened here? Who could have done this?" Said Ruth as tears welled down her eyes.
" How could they have done this? This could means that they found out that the body gurards we had placed here were fake and did not really know how to fight. We have just wastee people's lives and I do not think that they will ever be able to forgive us in their spiritual world" said Faith crying.
They immediately hired people to assist them in digging graves so that they could bury all those people who had been killed. They knew that if they informed their families and the matter reached to court then it would mean that they would spend the rest of their lives in jail and no one will ever understand them. As soon as they finished, they locked the abandoned house and left.
" What if this whole thing is a trick from Tere? What if she is planning something against us? Something seems wrong somewhere" said Ruth who could not stop worrying.
" Relax! We need time to think about all this things and how to help Purist. Drop me at the closer gates and go home. We will talk tomorrow" said Faith.
Ruth immediately drove to the closer. As soon as Faith highlighted the car, she left since she did not want Martin to recognize that she had gone there. Unluckily, Martin saw her and decided to follow her. Ruth drove faster the moment she saw that Martin was following until Martin overtook her car. Ruth stopped her car and got out of the car.
" What do you want?" Asked Ruth.
Martin went close to her but Ruth ran backwards till Ruth fell on the ground. Martin just looked at her and laughed annoyingly.
