CHAPTER 122

Tere kept wishing that she was the one that Martin was fighting for instead of Ruth. The past was hitting in her deeply. Haggai who was still watching her from a distance went towards her and laughed at her. This made Tere to wake up who tried to slap Haggai but Haggai held her arm and twisted her arm towards her back. 

" A woman can never dare to hit the strongest man around. Don't do that next time or else you will be signing your death sentence. Do you understand me?" Asked Haggai in a commanding voice. 

" I will only understand this once you are gone from my life forever. You are the only reason why Martin cannot get into his heart to love me once more. He claims that he respects our marriage but I don't believe it. He only fights because people that he was weak and got defeated by another man" said Tere which made Haggai to  leave filled with lots of anger.

Tere looked at Haggai and as he left and threw a stone at him as soon as he wanted to enter the mansion. This made Haggai to make a sign to Tere that he would beat her once Tere entered the mansion. Out of frustruation, Tere decided to go and visit Vela's grave. It had been a long time since she visited there. 

Unluckily, she forgot to bring Vela's flowers along with her. She was astonished to find out that the grave was untidy. This made her to be filled with lots of anger. She went back to the mansion to look for Martin and found him at the parlor swinging on Magdalene's chair. 

" Martin! Why is Vela's grave untidy?" Asked Tere angrily. 

" Why are you asking in me such a manner as if I was the one who murdered her? I have neither done anything nor sent someone to tidy up the grave because not a single day did I ever consider Vela to be my daughter. I only saw her as a daughter of an affair and nothing else. So! Never question me about Vela and this is an order" said Martin in a commanding voice. 

" Vela is like a daughter to you Martin unless you never considered Purist as your daughter . Why then do you fight for Ruth who has choosen another man over you? You shouldn't had done that. If I am a bad person, then you are nothing but the worst" shouted Tere at Martin. 

" I have always been the worst kind of person. That was how I was raised by my own parents. That's why I am called Martin Tupfer. Get out of my sight right now Tere. There is nothing more for us to discuss" said Martin who signalled to Tere to leave.

Tere immediately left. She felt that all the harshness that was happening to her all because of Ruth and she needed to do something about it to stop it from happening. 

Ruth on the other spent most of her time trying to figure out how she would help the people of Mambo town to defeat the people of Olam town since they did not have any weapons with them. They had no idea of how weapons were made. All the weapons they had were bought from Olam town. 

She finally resoluted to the fact that she was going to teach the people of Mambo town on how to make weapons using their hand. She therefore went to Ryan's room in order to have a conversation with him but remembered that Ryan had gone to shower. This did not make her change her mind yet. She opened the door and entered Ryan's room filled with lots of hesitant. She found out that Ryan had already showered and was seated on top of his bed looking at his parent's picture. He was filled with sadness but did not shed a single tear. 

" Ryan! Are those your parents?" Asked Ruth filled with lots of curiosity.

" Yes and they were killed by food poisoning. Till  now it is not  yet  known the person who had wished them bad luck. I wish that that day will come when I will find out who the person was and present them at the case square to face a suicide verdict" said Ryan. 

" Yes Ryan. I agree with you in everything. I....I have cone to talk to you about something else. I have come to talk to you about the weapons that we will use during the war. I believe that there are so many men in this town. I can teach them on how to make weapons and use them during the war. After all , we are alwaystaught how to make weapon in Olam town once we turn ten. I can still remember it till now" said Ruth smiling. 

" Thank you Ruth. Thank you for choosing me even after realizing that it would put the people of your hometown in lots of danger. That's how strong you have proved to me that your love is and I really appreciate it. I will marry once the war is over and have children with you. That is true best thing to do. I hope that when that days comes then you will be ready" said Ryan as he caressed Ruth on her cheeks. 

" I hope that I will be ready too Ryan. I already made my decision and no ammount of blood would make me to turn away from you and go with Martin. I suspect that he conspired with Tere to kill my parents and siblings" said Ruth angrily. 

" Relax dear wife. You don't have to remember what happened to your Papa and siblings a few years back. I am prepared to revenge on them as soon as all this is over and we have had our first son or daughter. Why do you seem suprised? Have you never dreamt of having a child from your own womb and from your own husband? I must tell you that what I have always was to have a child of my own to be able to teach him or her the ways of being a leader. I admit that you take Purist as your own daughter but she is the child to Tere and Haggai. She is not your biological child yet you have always sacrificed everything for her but you also need a child of your own. Somebody who would look like you and even take after you and that person is not and will never be Purist. That person will be someone from your own blood" said Ryan. 

" And that person will never come to life Purist is not by my side. She is the one who gave me the motivation to become a mother  and I need her in my life as much as I need my own child. We have to get married soon so that I can visit her in her husband's house. Can I ask for one more favour?" 

" Whatever is that?" Asked Ryan filled with lots of curiosity. 

" Can you please find a suitable suitor for my sister Faith? I am afraid that if we don't do this then she will never get married. She will only be by my side because she always feels that the person she needs in her life is me" said Ruth. 

" When do you want us to start the classes? I will gather all the warriors in town" said Ryan who escape Ruth's conversation about finding a suitor for Faith. 

Ryan never believed in arranged marriages and that was the main reason why he took a long time before he got married or tried to seduce someone. Ruth was the lucky charm who entered his heart and brain. 

" Alright! You are jumping out of topic because you do not want to answer me in anything that I am saying. Fine! Your lovely lady does not want to have a conversation with you anymore because I am leaving. I am going to switch talk Faith so that I can help her to find a suitor for her" said Ruth who left.  

Ruth truly left and went to Faith's rooms. She found Faith seated on the floor praying which made her to laugh inwardly. She had known Faith in all aspects but never believed that Faith would be a prayer woman. She went towards her and clapped for her as soon as she finished praying. 

" Are you praying for suitor?" Asked Ruth smiling. 

" Yes and I am praying that I will never find a suitor whom I like because I will have no choice than to get married to him" said Faith smiling. 

" No! I want you to get married and that is the main reason why I will reverse your prayer. I will make you to get married to a man whom I know will take good care of my sister the same way you convinced me to accept marriage you fool of love" said Ruth as she pinched Faith on the nose. 

It made Faith to be filled with lots of anger which made Ruth to feel weird. 

MARRIED AT SIXTEEN.
