CHAPTER 192

" Leave my house! Leave my house right away! Get this man out of my house!" said Ryan as she signalled to hid guards to carry Mr. One and kick him out of the house.

Mr. One was immediately chased out of the house. Faith on the other hand sat on the couch laughing annoyingly. She had managed to make Mr .One and Ryan to engage into a fight and was able not to leave with Mr. One. 

The next thing that Faith felt she needed to do was to hatch a plan on how she was going to escape together with Ruth, Purist and Naomi.

Ryan felt angry as soon as he saw Faith laughing annoyingly. This made him to go towards Faith and slap Faith.

" You have managed to cause a rift between me and your father. Now Ruth will have to pay for it and that is how things will work here from now on. For every mistake that you all make, Ruth will have to pay for it" said Ryan who immediately left the living room and went to his room.

Ryan opened the door of his room smiling but all his smiles faded away as soon as he realized that Ruth was nowhere to be found around the room. He tried searching for her everywhere including the washrooms but Ruth was nowhere to be found.

This made Ryan to ring the bell of alert around his mansion informing everyone that there was a meeting with immediate effect. Everybody assembled at the  living room except for Purist and Naomi who had been trapped and were still locked up in their rooms.

As soon as everybody had converged there including the guards, Ryan kept scratching his hair due to the anger that filled him.

" Where is my Ruth? I locked that girl in her room but now she is nowhere to be found. Wait a minute! Where is her sister Faith?" Asked Ryan who suddenly realized that he had forgotten to lock Faith back in her room but before he could say anything, he saw Faith entering the living room.

" A very warm welcome to all of you into this house. My name is Faith Tupfer and I am the daughter to the Tupfer's family. A very proud one for a fact. It's joyful to be part of this party and we are really enjoying ourselves" said Faith as she went and sat on the couch .

This made Ryan to call the meeting to an end as he needed to have a proper conversation with Faith. He knew that if Ruth was missing, then Faith was the main reason why.

As soon as everybody had left, Ryan immediately went towards Faith and slapped her on her cheeks as a result of anger which made Faith to begin to cry.

" Where is Ruth?" Asked Ryan angrily.

" I don't know. Isn't she supposed to be locked up in your room like a prisoner. Why then are you looking for my sister?" Said Faith as tears welled down her eyes.

" What do you mean you don't know? I forgot to return to your prison room. So that simply means the fact that it is true that you have helped Ruth escape, now you will be the one to pay for that. By the time I will be through with you, you will be dead and only your burial will be the one to save you from me" said Ryan.

At that instant, Ryan heard Ruth's voice calling out his name from her room. This made Ryan to wonder about what had really happened. He was apsalutely sure that he had not seen Ruth in his room but now he was hearing Ruth calling him out from his room.

Ryan immediately ran to his room and opened there door. He immediately hugged Ruth so tightly as soon as he saw her in such a way that it almost became difficult for her to breathe.

" Where have you been? Do you almost killed your sister because of not finding you here?" said Ryan as tears of joy rained down his cheeks. 

" I was just in this room but then I decided to go to the washrooms to ease myself since I had a running stomach. Ryan! I feel like I am becoming weak and cannot take it anymore. This is a very serious condition. I can't even stand up upright. I think I need to be rushed to the hospital right away" said Ruth who suddenly fell unconscious on Ryan's arm which made Ryan to widen his eyes in disbelief. 

After a few minutes of disbelief, Ryan carried Ruth to his car and immediately rushed her to the hospital. As soon as Ryan arrived at the hospital, he was astonished to find out that the nearest hospital to his home was locked. This made him to drive faster to the furthest hospital. It took him twenty minutes to arrive at the furthest hospital.

As soon as he arrived, he carried Ruth to the hospital but was astonished to find out that there was a huge line to follow. Ryan immediately placed Ruth on one of the chairs and entered the doctor's office but was astonished to find the doctor checking through her phone while smiling and yet there was no patient inside .

" Why are there so many patients waiting outside the office and yet you are here seated laughing and smiling at your phone? What sort of a doctor are you? Are you not even afraid that there are other patient's here who are influential and can sue you for negligence if they find out what you are doing here in the office" shouted Ryan at the doctor filled with lots of anger.

" I know that you are Ryan and you are the leader of this town. Why don't you understand that I am not scared at all by everything you have told me right now? Have I not been treating patients since morning? This was just a few minutes that I gave myself off and decided to rest. It was then that I decided to check over my phone and found out that my mother is dead. Am I not strong enough to stay behind and treat patients? Bring your patient in Sir. I will start by treating your patient since you are the leader of this town" said doctor Evelyn.

Ryan got out of the office and went to the place where he had left Ruth. As soon as he arrived, he found out that Ruth kept nauseating and convulsing. 

This made him to rush back to the doctor's office and seek for his help. The doctor immediately followed him to where Ruth was lying on top of the chair. 

On seeing Ruth's condition, the doctor immediately requested that Ruth should be carried quickly to her office since there were no wards. Ryan immediately carried Ruth to the doctor's office where she was suddenly given an injection. 

After that, Ruth convulsion state finally stopped but Ruth could not stop saying the fact that she was angry and she needed something to eat. This made the doctor to claim that anger was as a result of her sickness. She claimed that Ruth had lost a lot of nutrients in her body which meant that she had been malnutreated and abused. . 

" Thank you doctor. Can I take my wife away with me? This is an outpatient hospital isn't it?" Asked Ryan who was a bit tensed.

It seemed as if Ryan was afraid of the doctor. 

" Not really. You cannot take your wife away till we run a few tests on her. He health deterioration leaves a lot of question marks in my mind. Based on statistics, about ninety percent out of a hundred women are suffering from domestic violence and have no voice to cry for them outside there. That is why I want to know the truth and help her. You may leave. Come and pick your wife after five days. We are going to transfer her to another hospital" said the doctor in a commanding voice.

" Which hospital doctor?" Asked Ryan a bit worried.

" You don't need to know. When we run such tests, we don't usually tell the husbands where we are taking their wives. You might come and steal them. Now would you please leave? I will call you again after a few days" said the doctor who signalled to Ryan to leave. 

Ryan pecked Ruth and immediately left and locked the office door. He was very worried about whatever was going to happen to Ruth but there was nothing he could do. Ruth was now under the custody of the hospital. His worries began to increase. He was afraid that Ruth was going to tell the truth about how her and her family were being treated at the mansion.

Ruth on the other hand stood up and began to smile as she went towards the doctor and hugged the doctor.

" Thank you so much doctor Evelyn. Everybody has acted just like the way I wanted it to happen. Now I must think on how I am going to bring Ryan down within a few days. I have to make sure that I save my family from his wrath" said Ruth. 

" I will help you" said Evelyn.

Ruth hugged Evelyn more tighter. That was a strange unbreakable bond as Ruth was known not to trust even her closest friends easily.
