Chapter 53

Jack and I were at the cafeteria, chatting about what had been in the news about the nightclub over the weekend. Jack took a brown sealed envelope from his schoolbag, placed it on the table, and pushed it towards me.

I took it and opened it to see what was inside. It was some pictures of Mr. Fred, but I'm not sure what they were about. I looked up at Jack as I reinserted them into the envelope so he could explain the details in the pictures.

"His dog eats human bones rather than animal bones. You can see some of the bones he gave the dog in the pictures, and they are always burnt "He elaborated, "In conclusion, he's the kidnapper?" I inquired.

"Yeah, with all the evidence, all we need to do is confirm it ourselves," Jack said. "He won't be using that night club to continue his evil deeds," I reasoned, referring to what he uses the people he kidnapped for. "What if we betray him? We can locate the missing puzzle "Jack waited for me to say something about how I felt about the plan.

"I think we should do that," I said, "but we don't have a tracking device to put on his car," Josh cut in. "Are you on the lookout for this?" We turned to see Josh standing near the table, holding something in his right hand.

He walked over to the table and sat. "Ouu, how did you know we'd need a tracking device?" Jack inquired. "I told you I thought ahead of everyone," he said, trying to exaggerate himself.

"Come out of your fantasy world," I said, hitting him on the head. "Ouch, that's painful," he said as he touched his head. "Guys! That's fine; let go and install the tracker on his car "Jack stated. "We all stood up and exited the cafeteria, heading for the teachers' parking lot.

Josh took Jack's phone and installed the tracking app on it while they were on the road. We arrived at the parking lot. In the parking lot, there were a lot of cars. We took a look at ourselves. We were approaching the parking lot as if we knew his car.

"Didn't you plan ahead of time, Josh?" I inquired of Josh, "I don't think so," he murmured back. "I think I know how we can find it," Jack said, holding up a phone photo of Mr. Fred's car.

We both shook our heads as we looked at each other "What is it? What's the deal with you shaking your heads?" "Do you have any other way to look for his car?" Jack inquired. He continued, But that was correct.

We reached into our pockets for our phones and received the picture via airdrop. To find the car before lunch, we divided into different parts of the parking lot and looked for the car with the number plate.

We should have spent more than half of the lunch break looking for the car. I was tired, so I sat down and almost checked all of the cars on my side.

I caught a glimpse of a car parked separately from the rest of the vehicles. I wasn't sure if it was the right one, but my instincts told me to go check it out.
