Chapter 78

I was in Miss Lisa's secret library with Esther. She was looking round the library while I was sitting down on the chair, going through a book. I looked up after a while to ask her a question.

"Esther, can I ask you something?" I called her. She stopped what she was doing to hear me out. "How may I help you?" she asked. I said softly, "You said the witch who helped in bringing out the spirit is going to collect something in return."

"Do you have any idea of what it could be?" I added. She walked closer to the table in front of me and placed her hand on it. She answered, "I don’t really know what they are going to collect from you because I don’t know what is very preciousto you ."

I assume the only thing collected is what is very precious to people in return for the help they have rendered. "Thanks for the information," I said, while she walked away from the table. "You are welcome, and I hope there’s no reason for asking," she said, referring to "Nope, just curious," I replied. "Okay," she said softly.

I started to worry about what my most valuable possession was, so I wrote it down so that if they came to me at any time, I would be ready to give it to them right away.

I can’t keep thinking really hard to try and see if I have any precious items in my position while I was thinking. "Hey guys," I said as Lydia and Ellie walked in."Hey Adam," they responded, moving to Esther to give her a hug, while they dropped their school bags on the sofa close to the door. I assumed they were coming from school; they hadn’t gone home since after school.

It was already dark. I was walking down the street heading home when I noticed that I had been followed. I began to walk fast so I could confirm if they were really following me.

They also started walking fast, then I knew they were following me. I stopped to hide in the middle of two blocks. They walked past me. I was about to come out when I saw that they had gone.

When another vampire appeared in front of me, I was startled and began to move backwards. Why had another vampire jumped down the roof and landed in front of me

I could only see three of them. There can still be more of them around though, so for now I have to teach these three some lessons. I got stuck in the middle. I came to a halt waiting for them to give their first attack.

But since they were not going to attack first, I transformed into my Lycan form and bolted to the one standing behind me. I clutched his neck with my right hand, then smashed him into the wall.

The remaining two that were behind me, howled angrily, grinning their teeth. They bolted towards me. I flew up and gave them a hard kick on their faces.
