Chapter 64

I wondered what was funny in what I had said. "What’s funny to you guys?" I asked. They didn’t reply. Instead, they kept laughing. I shook my head. "You guys are probably not normal," I said to them.

I heard a loud motorcycle horn in front of the house. I guess that was Jack or Josh. I missed the old days when we rode our motorcycles to school together.

The fun part of it was that we do race when we are already late for school. I always enjoy that part of it. When we ride into the school, we do get the attention of everyone, especially the girls. That was how I met Elizabeth.

I stood up and dusted my hands. I reached out for my bag that was beside me. "Bye, Mom," I said, bolting out of the house. "Bye," she yelled, when I got outside the house to see Josh and Jack's motorcycles parked at the front. They were waving at me.

I smiled, waving back. I rushed to the garage to get my motorcycle so I could join them. I opened the garage door, I entered to bring out my motorcycle when I got a glimpse of Lora's car.

Damn, the car is fucking nice. I wished I could get a closer look. I heard someone at the door linking into the garage from inside the house. Lora came out of the door. I took my eyes off the car so she wouldn’t see me admiring her new ride, and pushed out my motorcycle from the garage.

I reached out for my keys and hopped on the motorcycle, then started the engine. Josh and Jack also started their engines, getting ready to roll out. I wore my helmet and drove off, while they also followed.

After some minutes of driving, we pulled over into the school compound. We drove to the parking lot where bikes are parked, and we parked our motorcycle, turning off the engine.

We all alighted from our motorcycles at the same time, like old times. We had the attention of the students; the girls were crushing on us. They were whispering into each other’s ears.

I would have used my super sense to listen to what they were saying, but I don’t really care. We carried our helmets on our hands and walked to the school building.

We entered into the hallway, which was always filled up. We also got the attention of almost everyone as we walked down the hallway, taking each step at the same time, walking to our locks.

We stopped beside our lockers, smiling at each other’s trying to feel ourselves. Then we turned and opened our lockers to put in our helmets. After I had kept my helmet in my locker, I held the locker door to close it back.

I found Elizabeth behind the door resting on the locker beside mine. "Oh my gosh, you startled me," I said, screaming. I also heard Josh and Jack screaming also. I assumed they had planned it, because they were scared of Ellie and Bella. I closed the locker and turned, resting my back on it, while we got the gist.
