The Fate Of A Wolf

I said, assuring Ellie. She was waiting for me to join her at the restaurant I had booked for us to meet. It was going to be a nice night for me if she says yes, because I have made up my mind that I’m going to ask her out to be my girlfriend.

"Okay, don’t let it wait too long though," she said.

"Sure, I won’t let you wait too long," I said softly.

"Bye," I replied, hanging up the phone.

I was about to slide the phone back into my pocket when I got another call. I raised the phone up to see if it was Lora that was calling me. I picked up the call.

"Hey..." I said before I was interrupted by Lora.

She said, "Where are you Adam? Come back home right away," then hung up immediately.

"Hello, hello, are you still there?" I said repeatedly, but there was no response. She must have hanged up. I removed the phone from my ear and wondered what could have happened at home.

I have to go and check up on her right away. I was about to cross the road when her call came in. I was looking directly at the restaurant I had booked for Ellie and me on the other side of the road. I could even see her, but she couldn’t see me.

"Sorry Ellie, I guess we are going to have an outing another day," I said to myself.

I went through my call log, then dialled her number. It rang while I waited for her to pick up the call. After a few seconds, she picked up the call.

"Hello Adam, are you here already?" she said.

I looked away and turned to walk out of where I was standing.

"Hmmm, I won’t be able to make it. Lora called me just now. It seems something bad happened at home. I want to go and take a look. Maybe another time we will come back here," I said softly.

She doesn’t seem happy with what I said, but she is left with no choice but to accept it like that. I hung up the call and dashed home.

I stopped in front of the house. It was like the house had been attacked. I walked slowly towards the entrance. The door was even broken. What could have happened here? I was curious about what could have happened here. I walked into the house, passing by the spoilt door gently.

I waited for a response, but no one showed up or responded, so I went upstairs to look for Lora. When I got to the stairs, I noticed a lot of blood leading upstairs.

I ran upstairs immediately when I saw this. When I got upstairs, I saw a dead body in the passage to the rooms. I was shocked to see a dead body, and the person looked like a female.
