I was with Nicholas. We were walking through the woods, while on our way, we were having a discussion about Alaric.
"Tonight is the full moon," Nicholas said.
"Yeah, it’s tonight. Is there anything wrong with that?" I asked.
"Nope, nothing is wrong. I was just trying to think if Alaric could attack us today," he replied.
Tonight he might get really hurt, "I don’t think he would want to risk that. He would be afraid to come because werewolves will be taking over the city. He might get really hurt tonight," I said calmly.
"And do you still have your guys in Robert’s army?" I asked.
"Yes, they are still planted among his army, but I don’t think he has noticed anyone of them yet," he responded.
"Are they able to get information for you?" I asked.
"Hmmm, not really," he replied.
"Why?" I inquired.
Because a nightwalker can’t know what is happening in the inner circle, only the disciples know what is happening in the inner circle, but they were lucky to get me a little information about your friend Daniel, "he said softly."
"Daniel!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah, Daniel, I think I’m now sure he’s connected to Alaric one way or the other," he explained.
Really, they should have given you enough information for you to know that, and by the way, where are we going to? We have been walking through the woods for a while now, and you didn’t tell me the reason for the walk, or is there anything you are hiding from me?" I asked.
He wore a big smile on his face. I wondered what could be funny in what I just said to him or what I asked him, which could have made him smile that much. He suddenly came to a full stop. I also came to a halt with him, since he was the one taking me to where I didn’t know he was heading to.
"I know where Daniel’s house is," he said softly and bent down close to a bush. I followed him and bent down behind the bush.
"Wow, that’s crazy. Is it the place we are heading to?" I asked.
"Yes, we are going over to his house," he replied.
He peeped through the bush. I wondered what he was taking a look at. I also wanted to see, but he wouldn’t give me space to do so. This made me really curious and I wanted to check by all means.
"Are you peeping at a naked woman?" I asked.
He didn’t know when he turned to look at me, "Really, you think I would waste my time peeping at a naked lady?" he replied, shaking his head. "I guess you really know nothing about me," he added.
Then he continued to peep at whatever he was peeping at.
"You got me to wonder what you could be looking at that made you not know me, so it made me curious, and is it a crime if you are looking at a sexy naked woman?" I asked.
"Women don’t actually move me anymore," he replied without looking at me.
Really, that’s crazy. I wish I could be like you, but I just can’t be like you. Women move me like mad, "I said, chuckling.
