Enemies with passion

"Mom you don't have to pick me up ,I will be fine I'm no longer a kid anymore .I'm now a man and a CEO to a well known company".I told her

"Just tell me when is your flight arrival,and I will pick you up "my mom pleaded.

I realized she won't give up untill I agree to her request .

"I will be arriving at 6pm"I told her

She laughed a victory before I ended the call.

I will be going back tomorrow after spending five years in Dubai.since I left home five years ago, I refused coming back for holidays and break ,and I bet I knew the reason why .

Dad just retired and I have to take over the family business ,that is why I will be coming home .I was still in my thought when my phone rang,I picked the call without checking who was calling .

"Mr Luciano on the line"I answered

"Come on baby ,you don't have to be formal with me".came the voice

I look at the call ID and saw that it was lizy .I hissed and went back to the call

"What do you want this time "I asked

"You will be leaving tomorrow,so I thought maybe I should give you a good bye gift"

"I'm not in the mood for sex "I told her

"I know you don't love me or anyone,but can  you please pretend as if you care ".she sounded hurt .

"I told you before we started this ,that I don't want a relationship ,and you agreed to it"I shouted.

"Fine fine,you don't have to shout ".she replied back

"If you don't have anything to say I'm ending this call ".before she could say a word I ended the call quickly.

This has been my lifestyle, for the pass five year I have turned into a complete different person ,with no emotions or feelings .I dated different girls just for fun and sex .all the girls I dated knew I never loved them and they stick to it including Lizzy.

I took my shower and decided to sleep early for tomorrow's journey .

When I landed at the airport ,mom was already there with Dad .she was putting on a big bright smile on her face .before I could say anything,she ran towards me and gave me a tight hug.i wanted to resist it but I realize I miss her so much and she also did miss me .

After she was done with her emotional drama I smiled at her and went over to dad,who gave me a light hug and smiled at me . dad's guard opened the limo for us and we went home .

I was having mix feelings going home,I don't want to see her but I can't keep avoiding my home because of  her .

When we got  home,the first person I saw was Sonia ,she looks better than she was five years ago.shd greeted me with a big smile on her face .the other maids came out and also greeted me .I gave them a fake smile before going in .

When I got in I saw aunt penny arranging the dinning table,she noticed my presence and smiled at me .

I kept looking around if I could see her ,but saw no sight of her .I excused myself from everyone and went up to my room so I could change up .

I went to my room and changed to a more comfortable clothes.on my way out I noticed Olivia's door was slightly opened,i decided to check it.when I got in I noticed the room was empty.only the bed and other few things were there .I was about checking out things when I heard mom's voice

"Two weeks after you left "mom replied

I was shock on hearing that .all this while I thought she was still here and I kept avoiding home so I won't see her .while she already left after I left .

"We don't know,we kept asking her ,but she told us she wanted to stay on her own".mom replied back .

I sat on the bed and stated having memories , memories I wish I could erase .

Mom noticed my mood and sat besides me .she wanted to give me some comforting words but I immediately stood up and left the room. I'm no longer that weak teenager anymore ,I'm now a man and no one can toy with my heart anymore.
