I angrily left the hospital and went home .I got home and noticed Linda was gone .I hissed in frustration and went up to my room.i was in my room when my dad walked in
"You were out early ?".he asked
"Yeah I was at the hospital".I replied back
"Are you okay ?".he asked while touching my head.dad still treats me as a kid
"I'm fine dad ,it was just Olivia"
"Olivia?".he asked in concerned
"Yes Dad she had food posioning".I replied back
"Is she alright now ".he asked
"Yeah,but she asked me not to let aunt penny know".I told him
"Alright son"
I sat on bed while Dad sat beside me
"Are you okay ".he asked
"I don't know dad ".I replied back
"Talk to me ".he requested
I hissed in frustration and lean on my bed
"I think I'm loosing her dad".I spoke up
Dad gave me a pity look before speaking up
"You should talk to her "
"I can't dad ,not when I'm having a baby with another woman".I spoke with hurt in my voice
"You can explain to her I believe she will understand".dad replied back
I closed my eyes to ease the pain in my heat before speaking up
"No dad,she deserves better and I can't give her that ".I spoke in pain.
The thought of Olivia been with another man breaks my heart apart but I can't do anything about it
"Are you sure about this ". dad asked
"It's for the best ".I told him and stood up from the bed.i went to the mini bar in my room and took a bottle of whiskey.i poured it in two glasses and gave one to dad
"The doctor advised I stay off alcohol for the main time ". dad spoke
"Oh I forgot about that ".I told him and took the drink from him .
"You've been thinking a lot dear".dad spoke up while looking at me with care
"I'm fine dad ,you don't have to worry about me ".I assured him.
He gave me a questioning looking before speaking up
"What to you intend to do with Linda".dad asked
For a moment I realized I haven't thought of Linda and the baby .and what my life will turn out to be
"I don't know".I replied back
Dad gave me a hard look before standing up
"You can handle it son".he spoke those words and left my room.i hissed and lay on my bed .
I was almost asleep when my phone started ringing.i hissed and checked the caller and saw that it was Olivia. I felt panic and wondered why she was calling
"Hello"
"Hey Tony"
"Why are you calling ".I asked when I realized her voice was sounding strong over the phone
"I just called to say thank you again for today ".
I hissed in anger ,how can she keep on thanking me for a thing like that
"You should stop thanking me , we've gone pass that level".I told her
She was quiet over the phone for a while before speaking up
"Sorry I won't be able to work tomorrow".she spoke up
I hissed over the phone before replying
"Do you even think I will let you work in a situation like this ".I spoke in anger
"No need getting angry over it ".she replied back .
"Get some rest oli,I will see you tomorrow".I spoke those words and ended the call .
I hisssd and slept off
I woke up very early the next morning.took my bath and dressed to work.i went downstairs and met dad and mom at the dinning table eating.i greeted them and sat down to have my breakfast.
"I thought you are resting today".that was dad asking
"There is something that needs to be sorted out".I replied back .
"You need to rest son". that was mom voice sounding worried.
"I'm fine mom ".I replied her without looking at her .it was obvious I was really angry with her and she knew it .
"Are you still mad at me ?".mom asked with a worried look
"I'm not ".I lied without looking at her.
She brought forth her hand and touch my hand on the table .
"I just want the best for you son".she spoke up.
Imediately she said those words I felt angry and disgusted with her words.how can see think Linda is the best for me
"And what do you think is the best for me?".I asked in anger
"Listen son,you have to accept this ".she spoke up
"Accept what ".I asked in anger while standing up
"Calm down son".dad spoke up
I wanted to say something but decided to let it be because of dad
"I'm going I think I just lost my appetite".I said those words and left the dinning table.i got into my car told my driver to take me to the office.
When I got to my office ,the office felt so wrong and different because Olivia wasn't there .I left my office and walked over to Olivia's desk .I walk in and sat on her chair.i.closed my eyes and I could feel her scent all over the room .I opened my eyes and saw her picture on the table.i took the picture from the table and placed it on my chest.
"I love you Oli,I fucking do".I told myself.
