Chapter 20

     Compared to the land of the goddess, this place was mesmerizing, everywhere had a hint of blue and pink and different colors. It was designed with different shells, and I could see fish.

    I thought the land of the gods was beautiful but this place……. Wow, I tried moving my legs to go further but I couldn't, it felt like my legs were tied. I looked down to see what's happening and I almost died of shock. I had fishtails.

    Normally humans with fist tails are known to be myths, but how come? this place seems like another universe, there were different seaweeds, of different colors, I got distracted when I felt someone passing through me, I lady with a grey fishtail, and pale skin covered in what seems like scale, her hair was blue, and very long reaching the tip of her tail, if not longer.

      Though I could only see her back, I could tell she must be beautiful, I tried moving towards her and she immediately turned, I was shocked maybe she saw me?, but how can she see me, am dead, I stood there like a statue, waiting for her next action, she stared at my direction like she saw something strange but couldn't put her finger on it.

     I stood like a stationary object, looking into her eyes intensively like it would pop out and but my nose, I noticed her beauty, and her weird eyes, they weren't a specific color, it was unique, I felt someone passing through me again, this time it was a man with a butt length hair, grey tail broad chest, grey, and shiny hair, he was breathtaking how can these mystic creatures be blessed with such beauty.

           The lady swam towards him while holding his hands. She looked at him, bowed her head. They weren't talking with their mouth, but they were communicating, it sounded like gibberish, but I could understand clearly.

        Well they were fishes anyway and weren't educated to speak English, well if am here in this story, I have to find how it's connected to me, I still feel like there's a hole in my heart, I lived a life for sixteen years and I wasn't aware I was possessed, but how am I supposed to know? Once a person is possessed, the person has no control of his or her body………  wait does that mean I haven't been acting on my own will?

     I felt hot tears threatening to fall, but they disappeared, I guess, they never came down my cheek, then I remembered I was in an ocean and I could see clearing without blinking and I didn't have the urge to breathe.

       The couples were communicating telepathically while holding each other's hands they seem to be in love, well the man spoke with so much love but the woman didn't, her heart was hurting, I could feel it, and she also spoke with fear in her heart, the man held her hands firm like he was holding the most precious thing in the whole world and might lose it any second, it seems the lady was is pregnant.

       A loud sound was heard and the couples were distracted. They gave each other a slight smile before heading in the direction of the sound. There is indeed another world below the ocean. I could see many creatures, with different colors of hair, nails, and skin, though some looked awful.

        They all assembled in a place that seems like a palace it was designed with Pearls and shells, the king had what seems like a head chain on his head, made with the most beautiful collection of shells I have ever seen, he had white hair and white pupils, chiseled face, and a dangerous aura.

    He was conveying instructions to his people, telepathically, it was a season when they have to send their children to the outside world," it is time to send the young ones up to the human world, where they are requested for", some of these creatures just bowed their heads in disappointment, with the look in their divine faces they were not pleased.

    Mostly the female, the males had poker faces, the king summoned a familiar lady " kai, meet me in my throne room after this meeting" he said before the meeting ended,  kai which was the blue-haired creature I saw with her lover, she had a disgusted look on her face, while she approached him.

   Her head was bowed," I know you are pregnant for my child " Kai was shocked, the punishment for having a child that's not for your mate, is death and the creature's body would be sent to the surface to rot in shame and disgrace, maybe that's the reason for her sadness.

    She loved her mate so much, and she is having her first child for the king, her mate was so happy that she is pregnant, but she wasn't, " your child won't the given to the humans" she was relieved after that, she would never want to lose her first child even as the child is unborn with the look in her eyes, and face expression she was happy.

     After the long pause, the king said " it would be killed instead" just a word that destroyed her world, "killed"?
