Chapter 32

   I woke up a few hours after the great encounter, with two goddesses, I looked around to make sure it wasn't another weird revelation.

     " You can have enough rest when you are dead",  a familiar voice said, and I instantly knew it was kailani, her voice was unique, she didn't speak telepathically like her people.

     She spoke in a language I understand, pure African English, but she really looks like her people, luckily she is invisible, and only visible to me, I don't know what I will tell people if they ask what part of earth she came from.

    Well, that proves a lot, I am not dreaming I am fully alive, and kailani and Athena aren't mere imagination, i just have to accept that, I can't live a normal life like I have imagined.

   I stood up from the bed, I needed  food, I haven't eaten a proper meal in a month,  " oh let me rephrase that.. you haven't eaten any meal in months" Athena said while giggling.

   She  looks carefree, and beautiful " rethabile dear, you are beautiful", they both said in unison, that's really odd, how do I cope with mind readers, that means I don't have privacy…

     They stared at each other in amusement, they acted like twins, I cleared my throat, to distract them, they looked like lesbians in love " I heard that" kailani said.

    .." Reth, true beauty, is not by physical endowment, True beauty is in the heart,and Reth.. your heart is pure and beautiful, you have a beautiful soul, that supersedes all".

     I felt relieved after her words of Encouragement, I couldn't help the tears threatening to fall, I wanted to give the a long warm hug ,I really enjoyed their company.

      " So Reth, what do we do next ? The question confused me, I had no idea on what to do next, how to save these souls and how to gain a normal life because their enemies are now my enemies.

    I can't run away from that, I need a plan and we need help, of every spiritual person there is, " Athena, can you go back to your land?How about you Kailani, can you transform if you get to a nearby river?".

     That's a good start I guess, " I have never been outside your body", they both replied in unison, well that would have been surprising, but it's not the first time, I guess I need to ask them separately.

    " Kailani, do you know how to use your powers?"... " No, I have been stagnant for sixteen human years"...  Well that's weird, " Athena have you discovered your powers, or do you know how to go back home?... " No Reth,I don't know anywhere else, aside from your body"..

        Wow it's really going to be hard, but a journey of a thousand miles starts with a step forward, so we would take it as an assignment, to find out ways to get what we all want.

     "I….", A knock at the door distracted me, it was Peter, in his glorious form, oh jeez I have missed him so much, he looked so.. So beautiful, I felt the urge to hug him, but I don't know if he would want to hug the female version of Lazarus.

         I felt embarrassed, and shy, do I still deserve him ?, "Reth…'', everything was moving at a slow pace, " peter" I replied, and he immediately hugged me .." you are alive" he said in a whisper as his tears dropped on my shoulder. 

    " Thank goodness you are alive, I don't know what I could have done, without you in my life, you left me for a month Reth, a whole month, you promised me you would be by my side".

    His confession made me really emotional and I started crying as well, as we hugged each other.
