Chapter 68

     " Ok so you were engulfed with rage and sadness" she said as she wrote it down, " yes ma'am" I said, I was holding the clothes I was given so tight, " do you want to pee" she said as she saw me holding onto my trousers.

   " Yes ma" I said, I just needed a break. I remember giving myself an inspirational speech on how I will defeat this demon, and here I am complying to their plan, I felt anger build up in me, I let them threaten me, and go away with it.

     " I told you, to choose your life or theirs" a deep familiar voice said, it was the same void I heard when my mom threw me out of the house, they were here, " wow, I was being watched, " I will grant you the last chance to choose between your loved ones and those goddesses" the woman before me said.

     She was being possessed, James was at my back, he stood still like he wasn't seeing what was going on, " james!" I yelled, he didn't move, I walked up to him hurriedly, immediately my hands touched him, I saw dark smome Emiting from his body.

    He was possessed as well, " no no no " I said as I walked backward, " there's no running away rethabile" the woman said, shit I am on a locked room with teo possessed people, I was reminded of the words the fine young man said, " I will be tormented but not killed" ..

       I looked at the woman behind me, she had a devilish smile on her face, " you need me, you can't kill me, so I don't fear you" I said firmly, I was amazed by the courage that filled me, immediately the one tense room became free.

   " Why are you standing?" The woman asked, her voice was back to normal, and so was James, I guess they were no longer possessed, " I want to pee" I said, she looked around, " when did you Stand up?" She asked.

    There's no use explaining to her what just Happened, I would be seen as a mad woman, I ignored her then walked towards James, who guarded the door, he would be the one incharge of guarding me to the bathroom.

    He escorted me till I got to the door, then he waited outside, I just needed peace, I will have to wait for the return of the demons, I threatened them as well so I have to do something.

   I washed my face with the cold water running from the tap, I felt a feeling of calmness engult me, I looked at the weird silver ring on my finger, it look strange, I haven't seen anything like it, there were two swords engraved on it.

    I tried pulling it, but I couldn't, each time it became tighter, " aren't you done?" James asked from outside the door. It's been barely two minutes and I am being urged to leave, " done" I said, as I walked out of the door.

     I was taken back to the tearapy room, where I was asked series of annoying questions, before I was sent back to the cell room, athena and Kailani had sad looks on their faces I wasn't happy either," Reth, I want to be free" Athena said.

   I also crave for freedom, but we are in a cell, and I can't leave without them, I guess we would be here for some time, " I feel scared anytime you leave," Kailani said while pouting like a baby.

   Athena nodded, I felt a sense of pride, I am protecting two goddesses, now I know what my older sisters feels when I hold her while sleeping, I am an older sister to a godess, not one but two, " I can see your head getting bigger" athena said as she ran towards me.

    I knew she wanted to hug me, but we might end up being caught again, I ran to the edge of the room, she ran towards me with her hands open, kailani joined her, then I was being chased in the little room, I was laughing like a child who was running away from being tickled.

    I felt carefree playing with them, I guess you don't need your problems to be over before you become happy. " Reth, what are you doing?" James asked, I stood still, and Athena and Kailani slammed their bodies on me, then I fell to the floor.

    This is an odd moment, " nothing sir just doing some exercise" I said, he arched a brow, I knew he wasn't convince, I was laughing while running, exercising doesn't warrant me smiling, how do I make him believe, " would you like to play with me, I feel bored" I said.

     Hoping he would reject my offer, so I can have some time alone, but he entered immediately, which was odd, but I couldn't reject his presence, " what game would you like to play?" He asked, I was in no mood for games.

    " I have no idea" I said hoping he would feel he would feel dicouraged then leave, " do you dance?" He asked,it was a weird question, at the moment, " no I don't" I replied, trying to discourage him.

      He went out of my cell, and my happiness knew no bounds, then I remembered my happiness doesn't last forever,James csme back with a little Bluetooth speaker on his hands, I stared at him as he connected to the speaker the stared playing a slow song.

       How am I supposed to dance to such music, I was hoping he would play an hip-hop songs but as usual life isn't what we expect it to be, he held my hands and pulled me closer to his body, we were too close to each other, and I was really uncomfortable.

     We started dacing to the slow music, his face was too close to mine, I don't feel comfortable being this close to anyone except peter, isn't it illegal to Dance with a patent
