Chapter 88

  Athena and Kailani assisted me, and I left the cell. Everyone was frozen, including the guards. I need to leave here before they all become possessed, at least I will be having one normal person,which is Raymond.

     I need to take him out of here, because they won't let him go, except they feel he is ok. Athena and Kailani were busy compelling the workers,and guards, they made them believe me and Raymond was never in the cell.

        While I dragged Raymond's frozen body outside the cell," done" Athena said as they caught up with me, I was staring at the color of the magnificent sky above, they looked so beautiful, I looked below my feet.

     I felt sand, finally I am touching a piece of mother nature's doing. Raymond was still frozen, thankfully there's no one present, I don't know if they are all frozen, or there's just no one outside the asylum,maybe they are all afraid of a mentally illed person escaping.

     I couldn't help but appreciate what I haven't been appreciating for a long time, freedom. I haven't appreciated my life this much and the previous week Has taught me a lesson, I was locked inside for so long,I became claustrophobic.

      "Isn't it beautiful?" Kailani asked as she moved further, I left Raymond not far from the asylum,he was heavy to carry, I don't have the ability to carry him for long, I hope he never gets back in there,

       I looked back at him, the necklace given to me by lady nalu, was around his neck he would be possessed again, I kissed his forehead, it was really nice getting to know him.

    My schedule for the say, Is to visit my parents, then Peter, it might be the last time I see them. I won't want to miss the opportunity. I don't think I Know my way around here, but I remember my address.

       " Unfreeze everyone" I said to Athena as I hid at the back of a tree, I was peeping at Raymond, Athena unfroze everyone and everything was back to normal, Raymond stood up and was staring at everything around him.

    Totally lost in oblivion, I don't want him to see me, I am just happy that he is ok. I snuck out of my hiding spot then I began to run as fast as I could, till I got to an open road,where I saw people.

      I don't know my current location,but I know my address. Back home I walked up to a man. He looked normal to me. " hi g-good afternoon, I just want to know my current location," I said. As I stuttered, I could see strange faces.

    " Are you mad!There's an asylum close to us here,I can take you there for free!" They said, it doesn't sound like sarcasm,he was furious which was odd. It's just a normal question, I left him then went to the second person, who thought I was stalking him, then started moving fast.

     This would be more than odd, " don't worry, I know where we are" kailani said, as she frowned, I was panicking, " where are we?" I asked, she had a slight smile on her face, I was instantly relieved.

    " Far far away" she replied, this isn't comforting at all, where is this far far away, and why is she smiling, " far far away" Kailani repeated, she also had the mischievous smile on her face, they must be up to something.

     " Far far away" I said as I smiled, just trying to imitate them, kailani and Athena, could speak in each other's mind, that's for sure they were doing the same thing, and I knew they were communicating,I am just curious to know what they are up to.

     They went to the middle of the road, I could see taxi and buses, moving a car stopped after a while then called me to come onboard, I was shocked, an I going to be kidnapped, I stood still, kailani and Athena appeared before me, " go in Reth, he will take you home" kailani said .

     It looks like they have compelled the man, this is the advantage of having two goddesses, as best friends, " yea more than an advantage" Athena added, as she walked elegantly towards the bus, the man drove for hours, I guess far far away, is really far from home.

     I felt safe, for an unknown reason till I slept off, " I will guard you" a familiar voice said, it was lady nalu, but I couldn't see her. I was in a dark place, till I woke up, I was still In the bus, luckily no passengers.

     " You saw it right?" Kailani asked, I was lost i see a lot of things, " you were also in that dark place" Athena added, I was shocked, my level of privacy have dropped, so I can even have a private dream anymore, wow.

     " Stop whining, we are one" Athena said, as she stood up from where she sat then whispered something into the drivers ears, he stopped abruptly, then stepped out of the bus," what did you tell him?" I asked Athena, who was busy staring at the window.

    " Reth, I want everything to be over" she said, her reply wasn't corresponding to my question, but I also want everything to end, my stomach rumbled, and the passenger's door of the bus opened, the driver was holding a pack of food in his hands.

     I licked my lips, like a lion who just spotted a delicious prey, he kept the food close to me then walked back to the driver's seat, then he started driving again, " eat up" Athena commanded, " aye aye captain" I replied.

     I ate my food like i haven't eaten for ages, kailani was surprisingly quiet, I guess she is also 

Tired of the temptation, " I will protect you" I said, she looked at me, I could see how relieved she was when I said those words, " I promise to protect you" I repeated.

       She crawled close to me and gave me a hug, " thanks Reth" she said, the car stopped and I was outside my house,
