Chapter 96

     I was taken to my room, through an elevator. It was my first time in an elevator. The receptionist was trembling and I really loved the way I made her feel. I walked elegantly and carefully till I entered the room, the interior decorations were unique, it looked like a king's room.

     I kept looking around, the bed was mighty, it was reaching out to me, " Reth come, come, and lay on me" the bed would have said, if it could speak, but I am tempted already.

       " Ma'am would you like anything, lunch? Maybe I should bring the menu?" The receptionist said I was lost in the beauty of the room and so was Athena and Kailani.

      I just nodded and the receptionist left, I only realized she was no longer in the room. When I heard the door close, I walked to the majestic bed and I felt nervous sitting on it, it was nothing like my bed at home, I finally sat on the bed.

      And I jumped up immediately. It felt like the bed would consume me.It was so soft. Athena was staring outside the window, while Kailani was in the bathroom. I sat on the bed again, then grabbed the sheets.

      It is so comfortable, so wow I leaned closer then I fell back on the bed, so this is what luxury feels like, a soft comfortable bed, with a room for a king, and a nice view, this is just nice having money is a nice thing.

     "The place is nice though" Athena said as she jumped on the bed, making me to bounce a little, " yes really nice, have you seen the bathroom?" Kailani asked as she walked in, " the bathroom would be nice as well" I added.

    Then the three of us layed on the bed, staring at the chandelier for ages. I only see it in movies. This was the first time seeing it physically, the doorbell rang and I was taken unaware, it must be the receptionist.

     I opened the door, and sad in black and white stood before me, " here is your menu ma" he said before handing Me a booklet staring at it. Only one meal caught my attention, ''chicken and chips" I said out loud with a lot of joy.

    I have seen the advertisement for a big restaurant, I want to finally know what it tastes like, then nodded, then left. I went back to the bed to Athena and Kailani who never acted like my adsense could brother them.

      " Do what's next, reth'' Kailani asked, " I guess today would be our day off" I replied,hoping on the bed. I began to jump on it like a kid in kindergarten, and soon Athena and Kailani joined me.

      It was fun,back at home, I wouldn't dare jump on my bed because my mom would scold me for ages, but I paid for it now, after jumping for ages, I fell back on the bed, my heart was raising. There was a ring on the door. I guess food is ready.

     " Nice, I can perceive it," Athena said, then I walked over to the door, I was welcomed by a set of plates and spoons, u don't think I will need those, but I guess it's compulsory the waiter pushed the food into the room.

      Then he bowed before leaving. I was anxious to open the plate, I had pictures in my head of how the food would be, " let me welcome our first food." Athena said as she Cheered for the food, it was a silly thing to do but it's worth it.

        I opened the plates, and I was amazed by the quantity of food I was served. It was almost a full chicken that was stuffed, then I could see the sauce and chips, I am drooling hard, this is amazing, "let's dig in!" Kailani said then we began to eat.

      But I still feel confused," how.you guys eat,even where you are just souls?" I asked the two goddesses, " because you want us to" Athena said, it was obvious I guess, kailani was concentrating on the food.

    We ate till our hearts content yet the food didn't go half way, it was too much. I went back to bed and I slept off with Athena and Kailani by my side, I couldn't feel any better, the bed was so perfect,the air conditioner was perfect, everything was perfect.

      I woke up after some time,and I felt Really relaxed and tired. Athena and Kailani were still beside me. They were sleeping soundly, I guess it's a little bit late now and I won't sleep at night, so I went out to the Terrace.

    The view was beautiful, but not like I imagined, staring down I remembered my bucket list,I want to fly in an hot air balloon, I will do that with Athena and kailani by my side since I have no other friends," we are here for you" a voice said from my behind.

    It was Athena and kailani,I blushed when I saw them, they hugged me from behind then I held there hands, " we would make research on the requirements for making a passport,if there's any barrier it would be cleared" athena said 

    I nodded,then we continued staring outside the day refusing to end, I only find joy sleeping sometimes because all I can do is think of home. The hotel might be luxurious but there's no place like home.

    " We will get there" Athena said, " why don't we go for a swim" Kailani added , it was a selfish request but I still like it," Kai, how do you feel when you are in the water?" I asked kailani.

   She frowned, she doesn't like the question," no not that Reth, you called me kai that's my mom's name" kailani said and I understand the reason for her anger, awww I feel bad, " kailani my love" I said as I patted her back
