Chapter 106

       "Saphira!!" Artemis yelled, I heard a loud distant noise, a lion came running towards me, I couldn't help but break the hug between Athena and kailani, I ran for my dear life.

     All the animals around here are so big and weird looking, what do they eat?I ran without looking back, until I fell and couldn't run anymore, I was horrified by the thoughts of being chased and eaten.

      Then I remembered I am here as a soul, I looked behind me, the lion was no longer there, where is it? Am I hallucinating? I don't think ghosts get fever",I heard saphira and saw a lion running towards me.

       "Reth watch out!" Kailani said out loud, then I looked behind me, two mighty Lions were beside me, growling angrily behind me, I took to my heels once again, did they multiply?Why am I being chased?Did I do something bad?.

       I had no idea if my feet could touch the ground, because I ran as fast as I could, I didn't want to die, I could hear the sound of the footsteps behind me, I was still being chased by those hungry lions.

     " Stop Reth" Athena said, she must be out of her mind, I am not immortal, what if I get eaten mercilessly, it felt like I was running in circles, the garden was endless, " Reth!!' Athena said, this time she yelled in her mind.

     How did I hear from this far distance?, I didn't care, I still Continued running, until I tripped and fell on my face, I was about to stand up and continue running, then I was held by a sharp object, looking at the back it was a claw.

         I was held by the claws of one of the mighty lions, I could see the sharp teeth, and hungry eyes. This is the end of the road for me, no one can save me, I don't want to die now, the lion roared loudly.

     I could feel saliva on my face, as the warm breeze toyed with my hair, I closed my eyes tight, just accepting my fate, I was patiently waiting to be eaten, then I felt the grip loosen on my clothes.

     Am I free now ?, I opened my eyes, and peeped at the scene. I was Artemis, she was transforming, she was changing back to her normal form, it was a thrilling sight to behold.

     She was indeed a shapeshifter, " you like what you see?" She said as she transformed back to her normal state, my heart was still beating really fast, I just witnessed the most terrifying thing, and she was asking a silly question.

      I ignored her, there was a lion beside her, it was way bigger than a normal lion, I kept staring at it, waiting patiently for it to transform back to its normal State, but it's didn't," it's not a shapeshifter" Artemis said and my heart skipped a beat .

         "It's..it's a re-real li-lion" I said as I stuttered, my legs couldn't carry the weight of my body anymore and I fell back to the ground, " be a nice girl saphira" Artemis said as she patted the lions head, saphira growled deeply then leaned on my body.

   She tried lifting me up with her head. I could help but flinch each time I felt her skin ," she won't bite," Artemis said, I don't believe the words, I was chased until I couldn't run anymore. Perhaps my soul is stronger than my physical body.

      I would have fainted severally, if I were still on earth, I don't where I am currently, I finally Stood up with the help of saphira, I am still afraid of the so called pet, she looks really angry, " that's her happy face" Artemis added, as she smirked.

      Athena and Kailani were walking towards me, they weren't there when I was being chased by two lions, and now they must have read my mind,they are only coming here to feed their curiosity.

     " Reth...Reth '' Kailani said as she moved through the beautiful garden, ``I wish I could bite her, right now for calling me '' calm down reth, jeez" Athena said, she must have read my thoughts.
