Chapter 110

     We had more father and daughter conversation, before I was brought back to reality, Athena and Kailani were more calm now, especially Kailani, she had the opportunity to see her mother, and hold her.

    " Don't take too much" Artemis said from behind us, just like I felt her presence I wasn't bothered, " training time" she said and then we were teleported to a different zone which looked more like a thick forest. 

       A bow and arrow appeared in Athena and Kailani's hands, "there's a wild animal that doesn't only hurt the spiritual body but the soul,it might take your life if you don't get it before it gets you, be careful" , Artemis said.

     A longer dagger appeared in my hand, it was longer than it was, but slightly, " assist them fight, the more you kill the longer your blades are, watch out for your backs" she finally said before leaving.

     I was nervous and afraid, this soul ripping monster wouldn't get me. I thought we would be trained, not put to a test. I heard a sound of fast footsteps approaching from three angles.

     Where is Artemis?I asked myself before a wild and weird looking beast jumped out of the thick grasses, with sharp teeth. I had a weird imagination in my mind, maybe I should climb the beast back. Athena and Kailani can't shoot when they are this close to the beast.

      I just need to distract them, " that would be a great idea" Athena said,as she took to her heels, I needed to think, how do I distract a spiritual being?, " Hey you!!" I yelled and the beast stared at me, nore angry, " you look so ugly!" I yelled again, before Dancing around like a monkey.

     Athena and Kailani, already set to shoot,I just needed them to make an attempt to chase me, I was panicking. They can't be defeated unless you penetrate their heart, I said within myself, Athena and Kailani nodded, assuring me that they already heard.

        Our target was to get the three monsters, " every man for himself" I said then we nodded again, " aaaa" I yelled as I held my dagger above my head, running like a furious lady towards a monster I knew was definitely bigger and stronger than me.

      The beast roared then started running towards me, I refused to be engulfed by fear, the beasts leg were my height that's the only way to get it down, then I will get on its back, I got close to the beast and I was thrown far away, my back landed on a tree.

      I would have been dead, if I still Had my physical body, a question popped up in my head, does this mean I will also train with ares?, I can't believe this, I will also train with the god of war, I have watched and heard myths about him, he is bold and harsh I hope I don't provoke him.

     The beast got close to me and I shifted from the tree then stabbed it's back legs severally, before jumping on its back, I looked to my left athena and the kailani beast had sustained a few injuries. One had two arrows in its eyes.      

          can't see, that's just the perfect mind has gotten over the pain I inflicted on it, and I targeted the head, it kept spinning around. It was really hard to grab the skin tight. I stabbed it's back so I could use it for support as my dagger was buried in its back.

      It cried out in pain, I jumped down then I dragged the knife down, causing a deep Injury, the beast retaliated and I was pushed against another tree, then the beast started running away, I won't let that happen, I chased the beast, surprisingly I have been faster and stronger.

         " You are really your father's daughter" a familiar voice said in my head,it was my father I couldn't hold a smile, I felt warm, I became more courageous and I ran faster till I caught up with the beast, then I threw my dagger at it.

      I didn't aim, though but it hit the right spot, I was impressed the beast fell on its back and I dragged my dagger out, the stabbed it's chest, It cried out again, " aik for the heart" Athena said and I did maybe I went extra miles to get to the heart because I removed the heart from the beast.

    It had a disgusting odor, and green blood I get a hint of pride as I held the heart of the beast I just murdered, I walked elegantly towards Athena and kailani, they were surprised when they saw me holding the heart of a beast.

     " Wow Reth, we are really triplets" Kailani said as she showed me the heart she held in her hands, " same here " Athena said as she showed me heart in her hand, I couldn't help the silly grin on my face, so I am not odd.

    Artemis appeared before us and we showed her the hearts in our hands," queen of hearts" she said,and the hearts vanished from our hands, " nice job, next lesson would be a training on our to hunt and heal" Artemis said then vanished.

      I will learn how to heal, wow I was really happy, tht means I will be an extraordinary human, I can fight with a dagger and now I will learn how to heal, wow amazing, I disappeared I need to tell my dad about it, " me too, I want to see my mom", kailani said.

     " My dad, said he would wait for me, I want to see my mom as well, it has been so long" Athena said and we appeared beside the water, "don't drink from it" Artemis said from behind us, we stood still, why? She was the one who showed us the river and told us we could see our deceased loved ones when we want to, then why are we being stopped?.
