Chapter 138

    He knows my father, of course he would know my father, he is the devils himself, I looked at the scene before me, I was in pain as my body decayed, Athena and kailani were Nowhere to be found

     I could see myself looking up at the sky with teary eyes. Athena and Kailani were coming from a distance, they were chatting happily among each other, they looked carefree.

     " Athena please help me" I said while my weak hands were held up in the sky, she glanced at me, Kailani did nothing about it,I could sense hatred in their eyes, my heart sank, I was so much pain and they couldn't help, no remorse, no pity.

     " This is the true Athena and kailani, they never loved you, they just want to use you, I will give your everything then take trouble away from your life" he said, I swallowed the last saliva in my mouth, as my mouth ran dry.

      It all looks so real, but Athena would never hurt me, she loves me and I love her as well, " what do you say Reth?" He asked, I couldn't give an answer to that, I Know he is lying but I can't stop looking at the scene before me.

    I read Athena and kailani's mind, but they have a clean heart, it's just fake " think about it" the man said then that was all.

    " Reth...Reth...reth..Reth!" I heard kailani and Athena calling my name, " snap out of it" Athena said as she pushed me back and forth, I was brought back to reality, with the real Athena and kailani by my side.

    " What happened Reth, you zoomed off" Athena said, my heart was still hurting from the scene I witnessed,I kept on telling myself it isn't real, but I still feel emotional pain, " reth, are you ok?" Kailani said then pulled me, I rested on her body.

   I let tears flow freely, " what do I look like when I am dieing?" I asked out of the blue, I could hear her gasp, but I compelled her to tell me, '' your body will gradually decay till you die, then it slowly Heals" athena said. She was really sad, she stuttered as she spoke.

    But I was in pain as well, I closed my eyes then slept off, " think about it, think..think... think" was all I could hear while sleeping, " no !!" I yelled as I woke up, my heart was beating fast, just too fast, I looked around, Athena and Kailani were nowhere to be found, I could help but panic .

     They left me already, where are they, did they go somewhere? They said they would always be by my side, " Hey Reth, I sensed that you woke up" Athena said as she materialized beside me,in a second, Kailani did the same.

     " Where have you been" I asked firmly, she smiled sheepishly, " did you miss me Reth?, You woke up five seconds ago" she said, as she stared into my eyes with a wide smile on her face, this is no joke, how can it be five seconds ago it felt like ages.

       " Reth, we have a surprise for you" Kailani said as she pulled me up from the bed, then I supported myself reluctantly, I sat on the wheel chair, then she pushed me to the living room, this isn't a hotel, it's somebody's house.

    " Yes it is," Athena said. I entered a large living room, fit for a king, " where am I?" I asked no one in particular, but expected answers, " you are in Sade's house" . The name Sade rang a bell in my head, Sade my friend.

   He walked in, looking more handsome than I remembered, the last time he was a waiter, and now he lives in such beautiful apartment, I couldn't help but look around, it was really big, but first I stood up from the wheelchair then gave him a hug 

     I miss him so much, " how are you doing, Reth?" He asked as he assisted me in sitting back on my wheelchair. I felt weak, this curse is a Burden,I couldn't give answers to his question, because I am not fine.

      " Well it's nice seeing you, and knowing you are still alive is a good thing, Athena over here told me everything that happened and I would like to help" said, I was glad because I now have a human that can see Athena and kailani.

And I am ready to help, " don't stress yourself, we will be going to South Africa next tomorrow. My joy knows no bounds, finally somebody to assist, " Reth are you ok?" He asked, as he held my chin up high, I nodded weakly, the devil planted a seed in my head and I couldn't help but watch over it as I grew.

       " We would be going to see your family now'' he said, my heart skipped a beat, my family why?They would be shocked to see me, I was nervous, I want to see them, yet Afraid of looking into their eyes, " we would compel them to forget after we are done, till all these are gone.

   He said and I felt relieved and sad, " sure" I said weakly, there's a shorter path to follow, and a much more painful and longer one, which one to follow, " Reth, you haven't been acting normal away since you zoomed off, is anything bugging you" Athena said.

    She must be suspecting me, I replace my poker face with a smile, that brought out my dimples, "I am just tired" I said, and after I long piercing looking she pushed me further, Sade took me to my house, which was surprisingly not too far from his house, " how did you get the house?" I asked Sade, who has been quiet ever since he held the wheel.

     " A magician never tell his secret" he said, then smiled slightly, he must be hiding something from me, " time will tell" he said then stopped outside my house
