IN THE DRAGON'S CHAMBER

"Come with me." he said and a bag disappeared in front of us. He carried the bag and I followed him.

We walk into a secret passage in the company. You won’t even know it exists. Does he know I am a demon? Is he trying to kill me. I thought and remembered that I was wearing the earrings my husband gave me.

"Beautiful earrings." he complimented, and I gasped.

"What’s wrong? Aren’t you used to getting compliments." he said, and I gasped, sweating profusely.

We arrived at a dark hole.

"Hold me from behind." he stated.

"Huh?                                     

"Hold me from behind." he repeated. I walked closer to him, trying to hold him, and he put my hands around his waist quickly and my heart stated raising what’s this feeling, I whispered underneath my breath.

"Hold me tightly." he said, grabbing a rope hanging from the wall. He jumped into the hole with me still holding him.

"You are quite brave, I thought you would be scared like the other girls." he remarked, and I smiled.

Which other girls, maybe he is talking about his employees. Was he expecting me to get scared?

We settled on a land with different colors of  crystals on the walls and ground. It's like the inside of a volcano.

He took my hand, making me shy and i felt a tingling sensation from our hands. He swept me off my feet and carried me on his shoulder with his hand on my waist. He jumped like a beast across the lava. Am I sure this man is a human.

He put me down and I walked behind him as his hand caught fire. He used the fire as light because the place we are was dark. And we both arrived in front of a gate.

Suddenly, the ground started shaking and a dragon burst out of the gate.

And the dragon flew in the air.

"Welcome, Ralph, and did you bring my food? Don’t tell me you came empty-handed and who is this gorgeous lady? Don’t tell me she is your girlfriend." He said, looking at Lucinda.

"Here is your food, you talk too much. She is my new assistant, the person that will be serving you daily." he said.

The dragon started eating the meat.

"What’s your name, pretty girl?" He asked in a hollowing voice.

"My name is Lucinda." she replied.

"Wow, I love your ascent. You talk like you are a British lady. " Deacon remarked.

"Deacon, stop flirting with her, I am going." Ralph whined.

"Are you going already? You haven’t given me any updates today, don’t forget, I am a big part of your company?" he stated.

"I know and thanks to you, the funds keep coming in with your diamonds." Ralph remarked.

"So have you seen any demons with the sapphire that can set me free?" Deacon asked

"No I haven't, but Lucinda's earrings, look just like the sapphire you described." Ralph said and Deacon tried to look at Lucinda's ear, she used her hand to close her ear.

"It's not genuine sapphire; it's plastic," she insisted.

"And why are you hiding it like it’s precious to you?" Deacon remarked.

"Because it is." she replied, battling her lashes.

"Did your boyfriend give it to you?" Ralph asked, raising his brow.

"No, my hus…. I mean, my sister bought it for me." she stated nervously.

"Anyway, I am still trying, and it seems like all the demons are in hiding, I haven’t been able to find the one that murdered Abel yesterday." Ralph said and his eyes became blue.
