"He must be suspicious of you already for your behaviour, you need to take weekends to learn human ways." Medusa said, and I rolled my eyes and walked out of the house.
I stopped a taxi and started stroking my bag firmly.
Maybe I don’t belong here, what if my husband was right about the earth? What if it’s just full of hungry, selfish, and greedy people.
The Author's Point of View
"Lucinda," a deep voice called out
"Yes."
"What’s troubling you so much you can tell me." Lucifer said
"It’s just that I don’t fit into this human society. You have to know the names of every food." she whined.
"It’s not that hard for someone like you, since you were so determined to go to earth, learning shouldn’t be your problem." he remarked.
"I know, but it’s hard to do two things at once." she replied.
"What are the two things you think you are doing?" he inquired.
"Working and learning." she replied in a sad tone.
"Well, get used to it and aim for the moon." he said.
"What do you mean by aiming for the mood?" She asked but gets no response. Maybe he is gone, she whispered underneath her breath, and looked outside the window.
She arrived at the company and strode into the company with her head held high. She entered the elevator and Mr Jones entered after her.
"How was your first day at work?" he asked.
"It’s good, I guess?" She replied
"I would like to be your friend." Mr Jones said, and Lucinda looked at him in a weird way.
"Are you serious?" She asked
"Of course." he stated, and they arrived on the floor.
Lucinda ignored him and looked into Ralph's office. She stared at him and tried to take her seat when he waved her to come into his office. She walked to him with her hands crossed.
"Good morning, sir." she stated.
"Good morning, dear, come close." he said, and put a brand new phone on his table.
"What’s that?" she asked, and he gave her a suspicious look.
"A phone." he replied, with a confused look.
"Come, let me teach you how to use it." he said, and she moved closer to his desk.
"This is where you add a new contact and this is where you receive messages, this is to answer a phone call and." he realized she was staring at him instead of paying attention.
"Focus!! " He scolded
"Sorry, sir," she said, and put her hand back on the phone.
He handed her the phone.
"Make a hand like you are carrying a bag." he commanded.
"Huh?" She opened her mouth absent-mindedly.
"What are you thinking about?" he asked, waving his hand and a bag appeared in her hand.
"Go and feed Deacon." he said, and turned to the other side of the room, showing her his back.
Lucinda's Point of View
I took a deep breath and retraced his steps. I arrive at the hole and look around, I fly into the hole without using the rope.
I flew across the lava, as I was about to go to the gate. I discovered my wings were still visible, I tried to make them go away, but it's not working.
"Why is this happening now? My wings are stuck." I said, trying my best to make it disappear, then the ground started shaking.
