"Are you for real? Don’t you know Nathan, the guy you danced with yesterday?" Barbie said, looking keenly at Lucinda. She stroked her hair backwards.

"I don’t remember." Lucinda muttered.

"Maybe if you see him, you will remember am going bye!" she said, waving. Ralph drove them to the restaurant.                                                

                Lucinda’s POV

I can’t remember a thing about yesterday. I said as the waiter dropped food on the table, I remembered that Medusa gave me something to poison Ralph with. I looked into my bag. It's not this bag. "I will do it tomorrow," I said to myself and smiled at him, taking the spoon

"So tell me about your sister. What does she look like? Is she as beautiful as you?" Ralph asks out of the blue.

Why is he suddenly interested in Medusa?

"Her name is Medusa. She is my elder sister," I said, eating

"Oh elder, can you introduce her to me sometimes," he asked and I nodded.

That time won’t come. You will be dead before that time. I said and smiled evilly as he looked at me.

"Is anything wrong?" he asked, and I frown.

"No," I said, rushing the food, I can’t believe I haven’t eaten a proper meal since morning. I finished eating and patted my lips with my handkerchief.

We walked out of the restaurant and a guy hit me, and I felt like he took something of mine.

"Hey! wait up," I yelled as the man ran away, waving my hand.

"Did he take anything of yours?" Ralph asked

"Yes, my-my phone," I stuttered, looking into my bag, which now has a big hole.

"Wait for me," he said, running after the guy.

He just stole my phone in the blink of an eye, proving that humans are cruel.

             Author’s POV

Ralph ran with speed across the streets, chasing the man. The man halted and hid in a building. Ralph breathed and stopped. He scanned the place with his x-ray vision and saw through the walls of the house. He gazed at the man through the wall. He walk past the house, and the man looked at him and ran out of the house. He appeared in front of the man.

 "Boo!!" He stated that the man became frightened and ran to the other side with the phone.

"You can run but you can’t hide," Ralph said this as he punched the man in the face and snatched the phone from his grasp

"I don’t fuck with amateurs," he exclaimed, and disappeared with the phone.

Lucinda stood in front of the restaurant, and a car parked in front of her.

Nathan walked out of the car and walk to her.

"Lucinda, I am glad to see you," he said, trying to hold her hand.

"Do I know you?" she asked with raised eyebrows.

"Stop being silly, I will drop you home," he said, trying to take her hand, and she slapped him hard across the face.

"It's me Nathan the guy you danced with at the club yesterday," he said and a vision of last night came to Lucinda

"I am sorry?" she said, and Ralph walked up to them and punched Nathan in the face.

Lucinda held Ralph as he attempted to punch him again. Nathan held his face.

Guys, i am sorry to tell you that I won't post again till further notice. because I can't afford to post all my stories in the competition so I will post when I have been signed I hope you all understand. so I think you guys should have patient till next month. 

And as for those of you who complained about my choice of words am sorry if I use any words that you are not familiar with, you can just look it up in your dictionary we learn new things everyday thanks for investing your time in reading this book I won't disappoint you.
