THE ACCIDENTAL KISS

"Thank you," she whispered to me, and I stared at my hand, I just made a kind gesture for the first time in my life.

"Sir you are still standing," she said softly.

"Oh! I exclaimed and sat staring at her beautiful face before taking my spoon.

We finished eating and walked to our office.

I have a puzzle I need to put together. It contains a picture of a map to get sapphire, and the puzzle is 8 inches long. I can’t do it alone I will ask Lucinda to assist me.

We both walked into the office and her phone beeped. She ran to her phone and looked at her phone.

Lucinda stared at her phone. It was a message from Medusa.

"I hope you are cool now." Medusa texted.

"I am, see you at home." Lucinda replied, keeping her phone in her bag and trying to sit on her chair. When Ralph brought out a map and spread it on the floor of his office, she stared at him, wondering what he is doing.

"What is this?" she inquired.

"It’s a puzzle. Come and arrange it with me," he replied.

"I don’t think it’s a good idea, I don’t really like puzzles." Lucinda muttered

"Just give it a try." Ralph said, making way for her to join him.

Lucinda bent down far away from Ralph at the extreme end of the map she started arranging, Ralph stared at her for a second and started arranging his part.

They both continued arranging before they realized they are almost close to each other, arranging the middle of the puzzle.

They both put their hands on the last piece. They were extremely close to each other. Lucinda lifted her face and so does Ralph, and their lips touch.

Lucinda stood up immediately, holding her lips.

"i am sorry," he said, fixing the last piece.

She wiped her lips with a handkerchief.

"Why are you overreacting? Is it your first time kissing," he asked bluntly.

"No but…Lucinda and Ralph paused as Ralph moved away from the puzzle to get an image of the puzzle. He brought out his phone and snapped the puzzle.

"What are those places with treasure chests?" she asked.

"Those are the places I can get sapphire." He replied with a deep voice.

"Are you for real? This map looks old and, above all, you told me there is no sapphire on Earth." Lucinda said.

"I know there is no sapphire on Earth, but those places with a treasure chest on the map are volcanoes where we can go look for a sapphire." Ralph replied.

"How are you sure we can find sapphire there?" Lucinda asked.

"i am not sure, but there is no harm in trying. Now help me fold this puzzle," he said, moving to the other end of the map. They both roll the map towards each other. And Lucinda glanced at his lips and stood up immediately.

"What’s wrong?" Ralph asked, looking up.

"Nothing, it’s only a little left, you can roll it on your own," she said and walked to her seat.
