"I promise you physical will be worse next time. Come straight home instead of going to the club. Thank goodness that handsome guy dropped you off yesterday." Medusa beamed.
"You are just emphasizing a handsome guy I don’t remember seeing," Lucinda said. walking into the bathroom She finished her bath and dashed out of the bathroom.
She put on an off-the-shoulder dress, which showcased her shoulders while maintaining a sleeve or ruffle on her bicep. She put on a flat to go with it, and the Medusa walked to her with food and medicine.
"Here eat," she said, putting toasted bread in her mouth. She took a bite and chewed it and drank water along with the medicine.
"I am going bye," she said, giving Medusa a light kiss on the cheeks.
"Wait, you forgot your phone," Medusa said, and she walked back into the house.
She turned invisible and flew with speed, flapping her wings in the air. She arrived at the front of the company in the blink of an eye and flew into the elevator, where she saw some other employees inside. She stood there with them and when they all got out of the elevator, she became visible and pressed her floor button.
She inhaled and exhaled and suddenly the elevator opened.
She looked into the office and couldn’t find Ralph. She smiled and tiptoed into the office.
"Welcome," Ralph said, spinning on his chair as she looked at him nervously.
"Good-good morning, sir," she stuttered,
"Save your greetings. Why are you here by this time? Didn't I tell you I don't tolerate tardiness?" he said, coldly.
"I'm sorry, sir," she said, looking down, vowing that it would never happen again.
"Go and feed Deacon," he said, waving his hand and a bag of meat appeared on his desk. She moved to his desk and took the bag.
She walked out, and he watched her go.
"Going clubbing," he stated coldly and looked at his computer.
Lucinda’s point of view
What’s this feeling? Is this how humans feel when they are drunk but still sleepy? I muttered to myself and jumped into the hole. I knocked on the Deacons' gate and dropped the meat.
He started eating, and I attempted to leave.
"Come, let's have a small talk," he said, and I moved closer to him and rested on his body. "So warm and soft," I said, rubbing his body.
"Why do you guys always take so long to give me food and tell Ralph to come and see me." Deacon declared.
"I will," I said as I closed my eyes.
Ralph’s point of view
I finished going over the files on my desk and I looked at my watch; Lucinda was still not here; what was she doing with Deacon? "I wonder what they're talking about," I said as I walked out of my office and jumped into the hole.
I tried to knock on the gate and saw Lucinda sleeping in Deacons' arms.
Is she nuts, I was waiting for her and she was here sleeping. I got furious at the sight and walked over to her.
"Ralph, you are here," Deacon stated and I put my finger on my lips.
