Mad dragon

Lucinda opened her eyes and moved away from Ralph’s grip immediately. He stared at her.

"We are out!" he said, smiling from ear to ear.

"Yes we are." she muttered, and he took her hand and kissed it, sighing against her hand.

"Thank you," he muttered, and she took her hand and blushed shyly.

"Can you please help me get these plants out of my back? They're killing me," he said, closing his eyes and turning his back on her.

"Okay, and you will help me too." she said, holding a plant on his back, she pulled it off his back and he growled.

"Arrgh!" he grunted in pain.

Mr Jones tried to walk into the office and started hearing weird screams

"No not there!, there! yes there." Ralph stated softly.

"Ouch!" he yelled, with sweat forming on his forehead.

"Calm down. I will be gentle this time." Lucinda said, and Mr Jones' eyes widened.

He tried to look into the office and moved back.

He pushed the files into the office door and walked away.

Lucinda looked at Ralph. He gently removed her hair from her back and started to remove the plants from her back in a slow pace.

"I have never been so embarrassed in my whole life." he stated with a frown.

"I know the volcano being demon-free sounded too good to be true," she said, yelling, "ouch!"

"Sorry, I will be gentle this time." He stated and continued removing it from her back.

"Deacon’s food." Lucinda mumbled as Ralph removed the last piece from her back.

"Yea, I totally forgot about that." he said, and Lucinda took off her armour and put it on his desk.

Ralph gave her a bag full of meat. And she slowly walked away, looking at him in a pitiful way. He noticed her.

"What’s wrong with you go already." he scoffed, waving his hand.

"Can you come with me, Deacon will be furious." Lucinda muttered.

"I know he will. Deal with him yourself." He declared, looking away.

She stomped her feet on the floor and he looked at her and she looked at him with puppy dog eyes. It was cute enough to melt his heart.

"Please, pretty please," she begged, battering her eyelashes.

"Damn it! He exclaimed and walked out of the office with her.

Minutes later, they both ran away from Deacon as he continued spurting fire at them. They both ran and tried to run away from him as he flew after them, following them.

"Deacon, why are you being unreasonable? You know, we went to get sapphire for your own good." Ralph stated.

"I have told you to always feed me before you go on treasure hunting, but you fail to listen." Deacon stated with a deep voice.

"Why are you involving Lucinda in this." Ralph said, running with Lucinda as they held hands, running side by side.

"I am teaching you two a lesson, so next time you will remember me first before going on missions." Deacon remarked.
