Warning

"Lucinda, Lucinda, are you okay?" Ralph asked, holding her hand and looking into her eyes in a weird way. She looked at him weakly.

"Yes." she said, walking away with him, and blood rushed out of her nose and she wrinkled her nose.

"You are bleeding." Ralph said and used a handkerchief to clean her nose firmly.

"Thank you." she muttered, forcing a smile. But it was obvious that it was a fake smile.

"That is a warning from me." Lucifer stated as she walked away with Ralph.

They both walked to the company cafeteria, Ralph ordered food, Lucinda tried to dip into her food when her phone rang. She looked at her phone and picked up the call. It was an unknown number.

"Hello." she stated slowly,

"How are you? It’s me, Nathan." The caller stated bluntly.

"I am good. Why do you call?" She inquired, unconcerned.

"Stop joking around. Will I have a reason to call? I just want to know how you are doing." He added

Ralph sneered at her.

"Who is that." he asked in a low tone.

"I will call you back." she said, and cut the call.

"It was Nathan." She replied.

"Who is Nathan?" Ralph asked curiously.

"He is the guy you saw at the restaurant yesterday." Lucinda replied, stroking her hair backwards.

"What does he want from you now?" Ralph asked with a frown.

"He just wanted to know how I was." She replied softly.

"Hmm, if he is bothering you, don’t hesitate to tell me." He stated, clenching his fists under the table.

"When did I say he was bothering me? He is quite helpful." she stated, and his face flushed.

He moved his mouth to speak, but no words came out. He looked back at his food and started eating while starring widely at Lucinda. She noticed his gaze and put her head down, focusing on her food. The rest of the dinner was silent, and the noise of forks and knives chopping through the silence filled it.

"Okay, shall we go now?" Ralph asked, cleaning his mouth with a blue handkerchief.

"Yea, of course." She replied, grabbing her bag.

They both walk to the office, and Ralph asked her to bring him coffee. While he was wearing his reading glasses, she strode out of the office.

                    Lucinda’s POV

I can’t believe my husband can be so protective and so harmful at the same time, I walked into the office where they keep coffee. I took two mugs and put hot water in them. I dropped them down and immediately felt someone behind me. I turned immediately and my gaze landed on my husband. I was surprised and stunned at the same time. Speak of the devil. My bad. He is the devil.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, holding the table tightly while staring at him.

"Are you scared of me? Why are you staring at me like that?" He asked in a deep voice.

"I had no idea you could visit Earth whenever you wanted." I said shyly, and he smiled.
