"That was fast." I stated, and she smiled, handing me the coffee. I stared at her. "I hope this is not poisoned?" I asked, looking at her in a way that alarmed her. that I am suspecting her, for some reason, my instincts are telling me not to drink the coffee. I lower my mouth to the mug and start drinking the coffee. It was hot and refreshing. I must say, she knows how to make sweet coffee.
"You can go I will call you when I need you in the main time, help go through this file and report it to me," I said, while handling her a file, she took it from me and sashayed to her office. I watch her looking at the file as she stroked her hair backwards and put the pen in her mouth in a sexy way. Gosh, what was I thinking? Why am I staring at her, I dropped my coffee and switched on my laptop.
Author’s POV
Minutes later
Ralph finished drinking the coffee and cleaned his mouth. He started going through some documents on his laptop and suddenly started feeling strange. He screwed up his face and weirdly held his stomach and ran out of the office with great speed.
"Sir, what’s wrong!" Lucinda yelled as she saw him leave. She was curious to know what made him act that way.
She started pacing worriedly in the office.
"Is the poison working so fast?" She muttered to herself, biting her finger.
He walked in and glared at her. His pupils were huge. He glared at her in the kind of way that sent shivers down her spine.
"What did you put in the coffee?" he asked, holding his stomach with his eyes burning with rage.
" I just made coffee. What else do they put in coffee?" she asked and before he could utter a word, he held his mouth and ran out of the office again, and dashed into the bathroom, vomiting profusely into the sink. Lucinda ran into the bathroom and saw him vomiting in the sink. She switched on the tap and took a hand full of water, although the water was dripping from her hand. She poured the water on his head. And watched as the water dissolved into his hair.
"What are you doing here? Get out of here, it's a men’s bathroom," he stated, continuing to vomit, putting his hand on the table close to the sink. He was feeling like a pregnant woman who was throwing up.
"I want to help you, I don’t care." she shrugged, still pouring water on his head. He reached into his pocket and took out his handkerchief and patted his lips with it. He gazed up at the ceiling, resting his back on the bathroom wall. "You can go now," he said, looking down at Lucinda.
"No I won't, not until you are fine….." she stated in a stubborn way.
"Please just go, don’t make things harder for me as it is." He said
