Strange

"How did it fall?" he asked, nobody in particular looking at the broken mug on the floor.

"I am not sure if I will clean it up," Lucinda said, attempting to squat.

"Leave it, don’t hurt yourself. I will call the cleaners to come clean it up. It’s not your job, " he said, and she stood up slowly.

"But it’s strange how a mug I place here will just fall down on its own," he stated, stroking his chin.

"I saw you placing it on your table too. Maybe it’s the wind," she suggested, and he stared at her.

"Wind, give me a break. How will the wind fall on something so heavy," he said, and took his phone from the table.

The cleaners walked in and start cleaning the mess, while Ralph stared at  Lucinda. She sat slowly on her chair, trying not to look at him, but she was looking at him with side-eyes and she knew he was seeing her.

Minutes later, Ralph carried a brown briefcase and walked to Lucinda.

"Let’s go home," he stated, and she looked up at him, staring into his eyes.

"Aren’t we going to eat at the restaurant first?" She asked, looking keenly at him.

"You can eat at home. I have something really important I need to attend to at home." He said, avoiding her gaze.

"Okay then," she mumbled, walking out of the office with him as they both entered the elevator. Ralph stared at

Lucinda brought out his phone and started pressing it. She looked at him, trying to see what's on his phone, but he put it close to his face, preventing her from seeing the screen; she moved her head widely, trying to see what he was doing on his phone; he looked at her, and she looked away, whistling.

They both walk out of the company and into his car. He drove Lucinda to her house and she walked out of the car and waved.

"See you tomorrow." She beamed and he stared at her in a weird way.

"Tomorrow is the weekend, remember," he replied.

"Oh, I forgot. I almost thought every day was work." She grinned and started walking away. He stared at her and Nathan ran to her.

Ralph glared at him with his eyes filled with jealousy and drove away angrily.

"Hi Lucinda, I am glad to see you. It seems you are ignoring me." He is walking after her as she quickened her footsteps

"Please don’t interrupt me when I’m ignoring you." She shrugged, trying to walk into the building

"Why are you ignoring me?" Nathan asked, following her. She turned and looked at him with her eyes, saying "go away."

"I just want to go and rest inside. I am exhausted," she replied. Trying to walk away, he grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to his chest. She looked at him with her hand on his chest. And he gazed into her eyes, glowing red eyes holding her waist.

"Will you be free tomorrow?" He asked nicely.
